Ruger Speed Six snubbie
What do you think about $300 plus tax for a snubbie .357 Speed Six stainless, that has been magna-ported? Do you think that is to high.I saw one today, it looked interesting.

I'm no ex spurt on the value of Rugers (or much else for that matter), but if its in good condition, that probably isn't too high.

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me, if it's in decent shape I'd consider buying it if I had a use for it.

I'd get it. You'd have a sturdy compact hideout gun that you wouldn't care about scratching up. My 3" 13-3 fits in a pistol pocket in my fanny pack. It's our "go everywhere" gun. That Ruger would be even handier.

If I saw it, it would be in my safe at the end of the day!

I'd love to have one, but not ported. Those little buggers are load enough!

I paid exactly that for this one a couple of years ago, and I considered it a good deal then. Its one of my favorite guns:

I'm not a fan of magna-porting, but the speed sixes are an extremely solid and reliable firearm. They haven't been made in a while and are getting a little harder to find. If it's in good shape, that would be a great price.

I have one I use as my truck gun..........great revolvers IMO.
Mickey, I agree completely on the "porting" .... they are certainly loud enough without the ports.
$300 is a very, very good price.
