Default Ruger 41 Mag. Flattop 6.5 inch barrel.

Even tho I bleed blue ,I still enjoy Ruger single actions. There is a very small limited run coming onto the market as I write this. I hope I am not violating any rules but the dealer on gun broker that has a very limited number is Wandering Traders. I have no financial interest in that business but he is a S&W user and has helped me when ever I need to find something interesting. Joe.

I am not sure I understand why this is considered a limited run. Ruger has been making this combo for years and years. $403 delivered to your ffl from Bud's:

Ruger 41M 6 1/2" BARREL for Sale at Buds Gun Shop $403.00

Here's Ruger's page:

Ruger New Model Blackhawk® Single Action Revolver (BN-42L) Specifications

What am I missing?

It sounds like these are different. Probably the new flat Top .44 Anniverery type gun but in .41 Magnum. The guns you mentioned might be standard Blackhawk .41's, unless I misunderstood you.

Flattop is the key word. These are built in the same manner as the 44Mag. anniversary model.

If they are as well fitted as the new Lipsey's 44 flattop's, they will be a good steady seller.

From what I read in a few places on these, they're building a .41 on the .44 frame. Just brilliant.
Frankly, I can somewhat understand the appeal of the recent .44 Flattop re-issues, since they were originally that way, but the .41 never was. Just seems hokey.
Looks like I'll still be sticking to my plan of a stainless .357 Blackhawk for Xmas, then send it off for a .41 conversion. Wonder how many stainless, standard configuration .41's Ruger could sell? Oh well, these onesies and twosies limited editions will keep the collectors drooling.
