Well, I took the advice of some fellow forum members in regards to
my 760 GameMaster .35 Rem. Instead of trying to disassemble the
gun to work on the bolt I simply sprayed a little CRC Powder Blaster
into the firing pin hole and around the back of the firing pin plunger.
Well, I let it set for awhile and then got the firing pin to move some.
I kept at it a little bit at a time with the solvent and working the pin
back and forth slowly. It finally freed up and some dirty crud came out
around the back of the pin plunger. I think this gun was just set aside
and not used for a long time and the firing pin just froze up from
old grease or oil that had hardened and was never removed. I will try to
shoot it again and see if it works better this time. Also, I still have
the shells that misfired. The primers are dented. Would it be OK to
try and fire them again instead of discarding them??
