Model of 1894 Sporting Rifle
This 32 W.S has a couple of neat features...primarily the pistol grip and cap. I actually like the fact that it is not checkered. It also has the Winchester Smokeless .32 W.S. sight.
I would have to rate it as a high condition gun.

That is really a beautiful gun!
I would be careful not to scratch it with those stone blocks though!

Very nice Giz. There's something about those pistol grip Winchesters.
What's the count now?
I'll have to take some pics for you.

Please do take some pics and post them here. I left the makers name off the Topic Post intentionally. Wanted to have a thread that ran "Under the Winchester Radar"...
Just to see who noticed...
Here's a few pics of the special features to this Deluxe gun.
Cap says Winchester Repeating Arms Co. The cap screw is engraved.
The sight is marked on it's side...

I'll see what I can do?Camera's messed up and only wants to do focus when It's having a good day,but I'll try tomorrow,at least the sun should be out so flash wont be an issue.I really don't want to bye a camera right now.
Don't let the suspence kill you but their all pretty nice.Maybe not so rare as some of yours but still nice.I'm sure you and others will like them.Whats not to like?
D.G.
BTW they all have stories with them, like Wyatt's little beauty.that's what makes them special to me.

According to my Winchester Handbook (Madis), the 32 Special was introduced in 1902. That is a well preserved example of an early 1894, they are really special. There were less than 3,000 made with a pistol grip.

Here you go Giz. Sorry for the pic like I said my camera sucks.
From top to bottom:
1906 model 92 .32-20.This one was my grandad's.
1960 model 94 30-30. My father traded a buntline for it when I was little.
1950 model 94 30-30. Was Inherited from dad's cousin.Dosen't look like it was fired to much.
1939 model 62 .22. Also from cousin.Just looked the numbers on that one, confused about the forearm grip and thought it was pre '37.A little help here would be good. anyone know?
1904-31 model 1904 .22. The first trigger I ever pulled,I've been a gun junky ever since.
Have a great day,
D.G.

Awesome guns and have to love the family connection. I don't have any Winchesters that tie me to my Dad or Grandad...So yours are priceless compared to mine.

Those are in Dad's toybox where I hope they stay for a long time.
I love them all.He took his first buck with his '94.Says he shot it twice cause a stigma made him see double and thought there were two.
Cousin beat out Grandad in a sales contest for the '62.They both had beer trucks in Miami in the late thirtys. We don't know where he got the '94.
