Yesterday after going to the gunshow and rummaging through the internet sites, I went to Shooter's and ordered a Bisley Vaquero in .357 Magnum.

I have some other Ruger revolvers including a some Bisleys, I like the shape of the grips. This is a new model for 2009, I have an older Vaqero Bisley in.45 Colt. The others I have are with sites, and 7.5 inch barrels. Other than a nice stainless one with a 5.5 inch barrel and sites I bought a few years ago.


I will save my money now for the new Marlin 45/70 and see how that goes.

Are you in to the Cowboy Action thing? It looks like your stuff would be handy there. I like the Rugers. Dad used to say that colt supplied the screw driver to tighten things back up during reloads. I like the fixed sights on the Rugers, much better than the SAA or clones. My 45-70's are single shots, though I would love to have that Marlin.
