Does anyone know when the Ruger P-14, .22 LR revolver double action was manufactured and what the gun is worth today? A student brought the gun in for a carry gun in a class and I cannot find the gun in any of my research books. The gun is in very good condition and shoots well. The cylinder is removed from a center pin under the barrel and unthreads and pulls out to release the cylinder for loading. I recall there are seven chambers. The pull on double action is extremely hard and for most people it needs to be fired single action. The women is 83 years old and she cannot pull the trigger. It is hard for me to pull. The gun is stainless steel and there are no rust marks on it. Her late husband left it in a night stand drawer loaded. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
