Questions about an old Colt please
A friend sent me these pics from his cell phone of a gun he found for sale. I guess it is a Colt DA Frontier .45 revolver. Markings are pretty much gone or obscured by grime and filth. Parts are missing. Judging by these pics, can anyone tell me what it is, are parts available to repair it, and is it worth bothering with? Thanks for an response.

Colt Model 1978 Frontier Double Action revolver. The caliber should be marked on the left front of the triggerguard.

I had one years ago. Took it in on trade. It was a dog, re nickled, grips well worn. A .45 with 7 1/2 inch barrel. I traded it for something, can't remember what. Probably a S&W.
