I shot one (308) last weekend on a local range. I wasn't impressed, 20 shots fired, 2 failures to eject/feed.
Maybe it was just because the R-25 was brand new .... ?

Using Magpul 20 round mags mine has been worked without flaw. Accuracy is very good.

handled one today, i was so disappointed because i thought this was the answer to my problems, this one was rattling just from being shown, the charging handle sounded like a .22 going off and was "gritty" the camo was worn off of it just from handling, and everything that moved just felt rough, i couldnt figure out what was wrong with it and the guy who had it for sale told me that they were having jamming issues and that one had worn out after 300 shots. he told me that he did get commision but that he wouldnt advise me to buy one for hunting. it was just a lot of noise for a hunting gun. id say it would be a pretty decent range gun but ahh

That's too bad. It also caught my eye but doesn't sound worth the money.

I thought a Rem. Model 25 was a little pump in 25-20 or 32-20. Made from 1923 thru 1936. Guess I'm over the hill.LOL.
