Default 1911 finish

I hope I am not in violation of any forum rules by posing a 1911 question here. If so I apologize.

For several years I picked up various 1911 parts and threw them into a box for a future build. Included were an old TZ parkerized slide, a Caspian frame, a Kart match barrel and enough of the old forged military internal/external parts to round out the gun.

I have a friend who is a truly gifted 1911 mechanic and he built the gun for me. It turned out to be, by far, the best 1911 I have ever owned. The slide frame fit is great, the accuracy is amazing (5 shots in one ragged hole from a Ransom rest at 25 yrds) and the trigger pull is perfect for me. He finished it up with a nice 20 lpi checkered front strap.

Now to my question. I now have my perfect 1911 with a parkerized slide, a Caspian frame that is still in the white and forged military parts. Where can I get a first class, high polish blue finish on this gun?

I use this guy ...He is first class and has done a bunch for me.
Thing that first put me on to him was that I can and do my own polishing work ...just needed someone to "dip" them if you will.George is a first class guy and will do as much or as little as you need...and GREAT communication.Best one,I had a 4" Blue Beater Python that I had him nickel ....couldn't believe it ....it looks outstanding to this day.

And he doesn't charge an arm and a leg or two

Glenrock Blue

Jason Burton, of Heirloom Precision recommended them when I emailed to ask about a refinish. Apparently several top makers use them. Not much of a web presence , but the prices are very reasonable and the turnaround is pretty quick.
