I'll take a stab at it. Iver Johnson? .44 WCF is also called .44-40. It was originally a black powder round, although it is available today in smokeless. This gun would be for black powder only I'm sure. At any rate, I wouldn't shoot it.

I think a Spanish copy/modification of the .44 Double Action, but I'll bet someone in Forum land will recognize the proofmark.

Belgian knockoff inspired by a S&W. The crown/ELG proof originates in Liege.

"Inspired by S&W" and Belgian Liege mark is true. There were many of those "inspirations" made well up into the 1930s - cheap copies with simple mechanisms more like Iver J and H&Rs but many of poorer quality. I have had one that was very well made - the only good one I ever saw. As a kid I used to get a flyer "Galef's Go Getters" by J.L. Galef in Philadelphia, I think, that offered a Spanish version in .44 Special for $4.50.

As stated above, an old ripoff of a DA Smith and Wesson.
I think those grips may be Merwin Hulbert/Hopkins Allen though and
if they are those in themselves may be worth as much as the whole gun.
I'm not an expert though. I have messaged Terry Wagner and sent this link to him though.
He is an expert in Merwins.

The grips look to be from an early .38 Merwin & Hulbert due to the large basket weave in the circle.

Yep, It's Belgian knock off of a S&W D.A. You have a good wall hanger there. By the way, don't shoot it.
