I wonder if this is already posted in here. Anyway, here's an old model .44 (1969) with one of the finest, perfect fitting pair of grips made of an unknow antler that I've ever owned. The gun fits great in this ancient holster I made for a Colt but didn't much like until now.

It just fits like an old pair of jeans.

Dammn , yer .41 mag sports serial number #41?!?!
My .41 Blackhawk is probably my favorite Ruger too. But I had to stick with the Super BH grip. I like the balance and it fits my hand better.

I'm not a huge Ruger fan. This early flat-bolt M77V .220 Swift (bottom) represents the only Ruger in the menagerie here.

This one used to be an old Super Blackhawk but was in pretty tough shape when I got it. So I made a few changes to help make it a bit better for carrying and bumming around in the desert.

I actually prefer my wheelguns of the S&W variety but the P series Ruger bottom feeders are a pretty good bang for the buck.
Loves me some KP90 .45ACP. Pretty darn accurate & reliable. The revolver is a '52 vintage Model of 1950 Target also in .45ACP.
Of course, the 22/45.
Mini-30 Ranch.
And... of COURSE the obligitory 10/22.
Stock All Weather except for the Tech Sights TSR-100 sights. Accuracy really improved after I took off the barrel band.

This is an old 3-screw Super Blackhawk that I made more user friendly for use in the mountains. It was in pretty tough shape when I got it - I think it cleaned up pretty well.

Actually that's R.T.W.F.M. Those lawyers are very thorough.
I can't take any pictures right now as my entire house is packed up and ready to be shipped, but I have few Rugers myself (all very standard fare).
I've got a 10/22 that has put a fare number of squirrels on the table in the last 20 years and a .41 mag Black Hawk. I used to have an SP101, but the wife took it.

2 .38 Special GP100's, security company trade ins.
Home defense and occasional CC gun. What time is it? 357!
Just a fun target GP100 I made out of a worn out blue 6" half lug GP, and some stainless parts I got cheap that were from a cut up PD trade in revolver.
NYPD approved "over run" GP100 .38 Special DAO, info on these is hard to find, I have yet to hear from an NYPD officer who has ever bought and used a GP100 to use as a duty gun.I had heard these were ordered by the NYPD for sale at the "approved gun shops" where officers could buy duty guns, but they were never accepted, and instead were purchased by the NY State Police. I don't know, but this "GPNY" shows signs of lots of time in a retention holster, so it was carried by someone on duty.

The second one is pretty accurate.

Well, I don't have pics, but I have more of the rifles than handguns. I have a 181 series Mini-14, a #1 in .45-70, and a couple of 10-22s. I have a New Model .45 convertible with 4 5/8" barrel and that's the only handgun, but I'm in the market for a 6-10" .22 auto.

The grips on the 1970 Super Blackhawk are beautiful. Can you please tell us about them.

My only Ruger -- a Mk III slabside Competition Target that I bought about three years ago. This was the gun that reintroduced me to the handgun addiction after about 40 years on the wagon.
The next gun after this one was a 629, and it has been Smiths ever since with the exception of a few Colts and a Hi-Standard.
I'm amazed at how massive the Ruger is compared to a Colt Woodsman and a Hi-Standard Model B. The Ruger weighs almost a full pound more than the Woodsman, and 3/4 of a pound more than the Hi-Standard.
I have the feeling that if I shot this one more I might get reasonably proficient with it. But I almost always want to shoot revolvers at the range, and this one tends to stay in the safe.
