Stevens shotgun
I have a Stevens shotgun. Double barrel, 12 gauge. I am needing a stock for it. There are no markings on the gun other than the serial number. Can anyone help me figure out what type of gun this is. Thank you in advanced.

Likely some version of the common 311 or one of its predecessors, but without photos, it is impossible to tell. Probably pretty easy to find one if it's a hammerless, mid-20th century gun.
Pull off the forearm, see if there's anything else on the gun.

If you have need of a stock for a Stevens, these are the fellers to help- I've bought several stocks from them now and fitted them myself. They will fit them for you, but at extra cost.
Here is the link, and just click on the chart and have your gun handy, and you can easily identify which stock you need. These are the only guys that have stocks to fit every version Stevens listed!
Stevens Model 311 ,Stevens Model 325 ,Stevens Favorite ,Stevens Model 335 buttstock forend set

Well I tried to take pics of the gun. I will have to agree with my son about me and technology. After reading and looking at a bunch of different types of guns and looking at the measurements on the Macon gunstocks site I believe that I have a model 315 gun. Now I have sent them a email asking about a stock and still no reply as of now. I just guess I will have to get my kids to take pics of the gun and figure out how to post them. Andy thank you for the link that showed the measurements.

Ok everyone when I got home this evening I had a box from Macon Gunstocks. I opened it up an inside was one of the most prettiest items I have ever bought. It needs a little sanding a fitting but after over 25 years of not having a stock on it. The people there helped me out greatly. If anybody needs a stock for a long gun Call them for service.
