I looked at one just the other day. It looks like a slightly shrunken example of my much loved Taurus 709 Slim 9mm. My 709 has become my main carry gun bcause it works perfectly and is incredibly easy to carry and conceal. Taurus has come a long way and I wouldn't hesitate to buy any of their products. And they will fix it no matter what, 2nd owner, 3rd owner, doesn't matter, they will fix it if it breaks. Anyway, I'd consider the 738 for myself if I could do better with double-action only pistols, unfortunately a softball accident 30 years ago left my trigger finger at about 50% use. It's a long pull for me with double-action, and it's the reason I gave up my Ruger LCP, but it led to me buying the 709 and I never looked back. Let us know what you decide, Shoo

Well conclusion is I FAAKIN LOVE CALIFORNIA! The 738 is not a california approved handgun in fact california has not approved a single frikkin 380 from Taurus yet. Im so sick of this democrat ran hell hole of a state. Smog your car, take your 2nd ammendment right away gun by gun, reduce the amount of ammo purchases you can make, little by little the democrap party has widdled away our freedoms and rights as americans and reduced them to the rubble we have now.
