Default Broken Winchester Model 42

Has anyone done business with Midwest Gun Works in Pevely, Mo.? They advertise that they have parts and will work on 42's. I will be in the St. Louis area this Wed. and could take it to them, but am curious if any of our members have had dealings with them.

Yes, but it has been a few years. Bought a rifle from them, had it shipped to my FFL. No problems.

Don't use my original 42 much anymore as I am concerned something will break on it. They are pretty expensive collectors, depending on the condition, etc. and it is my only safe queen. My wife gave it to me for our 20th Anniversary. Original VR, better wood, etc.

I shoot a little skeet with it a couple of times a year.

Have purchased parts by mail order from them. Never a problem.
