Any Rapid River Knifeworks fans?
On a recent trip to Michigan’s UP, I came across this knife shop in Rapid River. Many great looking-looking knives, including expensive custom ones. I bought this “Drop Point” which is one of their line knives with a cocobolo handle. Since this is a S&W forum, here is a shot with my 28-3.

Nice knife!
I don't have a Rapid River Knife, but I do have a number of Marble's knives form the late 1990's when they were still made in Gladstone and had blades made out of 52-100 steel. I also have a Bark River knife. Both Rapid River Knifeworks and Bark River Knife and Tool have a number of previous Marble's employees (Marbles farmed their production to China sometime around 2002). They're all really nice knives and the drop point is my favorite hunting style.
Thanks for buying a Michigan made product. It's only fair - my wife is from Ohio!

Nice collection of Marble's knives. I did not know the history of Rapid River Knifeworks. Looks like they are carrying on the tradition.

It IS an addictive sport closely related to Smiths and an all around manly pursuit!
