Three different German mk. Cz.27s
The first is a hi-sheen early Cz27. second, a military blue Cz27 and third a phosphate Cz. All all well made pistols and used by all branches of the German military during WWII.
Thanks for looking,
Joe

CZ27 was my 1st handgun. A very well made gun. Since I was only 14 at the time, I didn't realize the quality of the gun. My dad took it in trade for some work he did (painting contractor) and came in the original holster with extra mag.

I had a CZ 24 in .380. Well made gun and I think Beretta copied the "twist lock" system on some recent guns. Joe

pharmer, i recently inherited a CZ 24 and it's a very solid accurate gun. The only thing I don't like is that the slide doesn't lock back after the last shot. Is this the same on all CZ's?

The CZ 24s and 27s are really neat looking guns and one of the most reliable pistols around.
Here's a phosphate late war that I picked up this last summer.

Nice collection. Always thought these pistols were under appreciated by those who didn't know.

The rotating barrel system that Beretta used was based upon the early Austrian designs than the CZ-24 was itself based on. The 7.65 Roth-Sauer, 8mm Roth-Steyr, and the 9mm Steyr-Hahn were all earlier pistols with the twist barrel locking system.
