I have a FA in 475 Linebaugh.

The FA's are no doubt one of the finest handguns on the Planet...

But there are times and situations where a DA Revolver is a better choice...

For those times and situations make mine a S&W...

Different needs for different deeds.

And then there those times and needs where a 1911, in 45 ACP is THE ANSWER.

Exactly right. The .45 Colt is a much slower round (though in your F/A it can be made to just about equal the .454), and it impacts higher on target than the .454 with the stock front sight for the .454.

That EPS tanker holster is the exact same one I am getting for mine after I get it shortened to 6".
