I have a Hi-Standard Sentinel R-101 9 shot .22 revolver that was handed down to me by my father when he passed 22 years ago. The gun has the numbers 969064 stamped on it and Im trying to find out how old the gun is, Gun worth, and will it shoot long and short shells.... also anything else that would be of interest about this gun. I plan on passing this down to my son and want as much info as I can get for him.
They aren't worth a whole lot- usually in the $100-$200 range. These revolvers are worth much more for how good they shoot than current collector interest. I believe there are reproduction owners manuals available, for just a few dollars...I think, but I'm not certain.
