Default remington 700 bdl custom deluxe engraved questions???

i found a like new remington 700 bdl custom deluxe in 300 win mag.dall sheep engraved on the floorplate.the whole reciever is engraved.just stunning ,in the factory box.
guys,where do i look or who do i ask what this thing is worth,or any who would know any history of these.first one i have seen

That sounds like a standard production 700 BDL from the late 1990's with factory roll engraving (not hand engraved). They had scroll work and a sheep on the floorplate and scrolls on the receiver.

Remington used roll engraving a few different models, but ended up dropping it after a few years. It really doesn't add to the value over a comparable non-engraved 700 BDL and it's probably worth $500-$600. Great rifle, great cartridge!

thats exactly what it is.i guess i should temper my excitement then.i really thought it was something unique.after years of looking at adl and bdl 700's
