I got a $50 off coupon for that rifle in the mail from Cabelas. I hope you didn't pay full price.

The bolt handle gold eagle claw clutching the globe is a nice touch, but would clash with my cuff links!

That much money and I'd still have to duct tape my flashlight to it.
No thanks.

Looks like the duct tape will need to be used for sights too.
I don't see any place to drill mount holes without covering/ messing up the engraving.

Was going to buy one too, but think it would be "classier" with a synthetic stock and adjustable buttstock.

Unbeliveable! I keep seeing ridiculous articles with prices like that, but does anyone ever buy them?
It`s like those antique road shows. The people bring in something, this apprasier will say it`s worth $10,000. If I had something and the guru said $10,000, I would like to pop off, okay, she`s yours for $2,500s! I bet he wouldnt buy it!

With all that fancy carving, reflective surfaces and the intricate Damascus Barrel, all you’d need to do is put a Camouflage Dura-Coat finish on it and that would make one heck of a Pick-Up Truck Gun Rack Queen!!!

For that kind of money it probably comes with it's own African game animals. (Already stuffed and mounted.)

Oh that I wish it were................. Hell those got rounded up by the New Orleans boys before the rig sank But that's a different topic for a different day.....

I'm thinking an elephant hide sling, a nice gun case made of Crocodile hide lined with baby harp seal pelts and a snow leopard hat band for my safari helmet. Some porters to carry my kit who won't drop everything and run if they see a shrunken head on a spike on the way to the elephant's grave yard screaming "Bad juju Bwana, bad juju"

You'd at least need an important ($$$)client who just got popped on a third DWI to afford that. Joe

...or represent the strip bar in Oklahoma that made a BP claim due to the reduced business from the upstream contractor next door.

I wonder if that fancy rifle shoots as straight as my 1944 Mosin Nagant.

Look closer, it's already drilled and tapped for scope bases. It appears the plug screws are engraved to match the receiver. You simply have the bases and rings engraved and finished to match. What's another $10K?

I do see a problem though... there's no room in that case for a scope.

It would take a Louisiana lawyer to come up with the money....but I spect if you loosen that buttplate you could pry the caps off your longneck Buds after a hard day of gator huntin'

Nice, but does Tapco make any accessories for it?

It would be great with an AR15 stock adapter.
