Default I now have a Fitz Special

Found myself with time on my hands and was a little bored so I thought I would see if I could create one of those neat looking Fitz Specials. The cut-away trigger guard will let me work the trigger on this old K-22 even faster. and while I had the hacksaw out I went ahead and bobbed the hammer, taking that weird curved spur off of it and shortened the barrel to a more manageable 3 inches.

April Fool - I would never butcher a fine revolver like that.

That's no worse than these HORRENDOUS "Bobtails" that are so popular on 1911's now!

No April Fool's Day prank here with my Fitz'ed Colt:

My big hands always hurt where the corner of my 1911's mainspring housing gouged my palm. Just when I thought Browning's design couldn't be improved, I got my hands on a Dan Wesson Commander Classic Bobtail.

The Cbob felt so good, I had my Combat Elite customized to match!

Sceva, You have inspired me with your super neat conversion. I am getting the grinder out now and starting to modify my old HD's and Registered Mags.
