They do get a lot of looks at the range. My issue is they are front heavy and it takes getting used to holding on target.

Not as accurate as my 617, but fun to shoot!

I recently bought the 2" barrel "Barkeep" version, it's fun to shoot and amazingly accurate for such a short barrel revolver. Sights are regulated dead on, and I can hit with it out to 30 yards. A lot of bang for the buck....

I bought one (6˝" barrel) from Dunham's a month ago, same price and rebate as your purchase. I've shot it, and it is fairly accurate for fixed sights. I bought it mainly to help teach the grandkids how to shoot.it is a fun little gun to shoot.

I’ve had a couple Heritage 22 SAs. They are second rate range toys. If you really need a cheap 22 SA throw in another $50 and get the Ruger Wrangler. Much better gun for a little more. There were several German imports of better quality. I do like the wooden box they come in. My old Single-6 lives in it now.
I notice LGS are full of them, because they are readily available and cheap.
I must live a jinxed life. I never get one of those AKs that shoots one hole groups at 100yds, nor cheap 22 pistols that shoot with a K22. With the hi cost of ammo, I would rather not waste it in such toys.

Yes, the Ruger Wrangler is a nice alternative. While it's more money, 6 shot with no 22
Magnum cylinder, it does have the great Ruger
customer service. Should anything go wrong,
Ruger will stand behind it, over and above the
Heritage one yr warranty.

Last xmas, they were 179. Haven't gone up that
much.

Good guns for the price. My LGS sells a lot of them. Make sure you carry them on an empty chamber.

Yes that's true with the Wrangler. Heritage does have that goofy safety, but, it has 4 clicks when you cock it, so if you cock it to the 1st click, you have a tiny bit of protection with the trigger locked back. But I wouldn't want to be near if one dropped the gun just perfect! Just me, but I'll take the goofy safety on the Heritage plus the 1st click. The Rugers feel more real in hand. I don't think either is a real "woods gun."
K22 or M17. $$$$

I have a 6" bbl with target sights and a birds head 4" bbl with fixed sights. Both are accurate, reliable, and had the 22 mag cylinder included. Good shooting inexpensive revolvers.

I bought a 16" model for $140 last year just because I wanted to see the expression on my daughters face. "What are you going to do with that", she asked. Told her hang it on the wall, I guess.

If they’d lose that stupid safety, they might be ok.
