But I still wanted to share anyways. This one is another that has been handed down. Proofhouse says it was made in 1974 and I know my Grandfather had it as a nightstand gun for a long time. It needs a detail cleaning from years of his "WD-40 is the greatest!!!" philosophy. This may be the one point I won't argue with him but just see differently on... Colt DS is still my preferred carry gun. Never cared for the 5 shot S&W pea shooters.

I became a Cop when I was 20 I could only buy a gun at the Police equipment section in NYC. So I bought a S&W chief. As soon as I was 21, I sold the chief and bought a DS, great gun. Why carry 5 rounds when you can carry six?
