Default 1911 pistol forum insane?

I joined the 1911 forum a bit ago to get up on some of the colts I have. I keep getting points for infarctions such as asking a question about a colt trigger in the "Heaven forbid" colt forum instead of the parts forum. This happened a few times. Once when I used the horrible word [cover your kids eyes] **** when I was describing why my 45 acp dies were not loading correct and the stuff [****] I removed from the seater die. LOL Its like a bunch of kids who should not be given a safety badge at school and they are not Gestapo agents. LOL Anyone else been on this site?

I was a member of that forum several years ago. I was dinged for a similar infraction. I posted something in one sub forum that fit better in another. I got some points.
My second infraction was equally minor and got more points.
I replied to the moderator "thank you, please remove me from this website"
I received an email with giant letters stating "Banned for Life!"

There are other 1911 forums. Don't sweat it-I don't miss them.

Well, this is just MVHO and YMMV, but I'm not sure if it's good "form" to bash/complain about another forum on this site..all of the forums/chat rooms etc that I'm on have their own set of rules and regs that need to be followed..remember, you're a guest in someone elses house. If you don't like their rules then just move along.
I'm reasonably sure there are other forums out there that can help you with your questions.
It's a pretty big interweb and there's something for every body out there.

Imagine that-
People provide a free forum for the public to use, and then establish rules and policies and expect you to follow them!
Hmmmmm......
It is almost like they think they have a right to run their own house.....
