Slide Fire Bump AR 15 Bump Stock. Anyone have one?
Just saw a ad for this and looked up this review (there are others) BATF approved.Looks pretty cool, expensive for a piece of plastic, but could be fun for those with money and ammo to burn.

No but a friend does. Works once you get used to it. Be prepared to spend a lot on ammo!
We went through 7 Beta Mags in less than a half hour.

My view of AW's will not be popular. AW affectionados are gonna push the envelope until something happens that nobody involved in "the gun hobby" likes.

I like it Will I get one NO as my club is a Sportsmans Assoc. and no matter what gun you have you can only load 5 rnds. at a time . At least when someone is around watching .I do bend the rules sometime when I shoot my M1 Garand I load 8 fire 4 then wait a minute and fire the last 4.

I can't help but remember an earlier "bump-fire" stock that the BATF,at first, said was OK and then changed their mind at a later date. I think the buyers were out the cost when the stock became illegal.
(Of course they were probably tired of it by then anyway.... )

You are probably right on. I really do not see how the ATF allowed it? True it's not "the definition" of a full auto but certainly looks like the end result is the same.
Even though I have a basic AR bought back when the "fever" was going around, couldn't tell the last time it was fired.
I am going more and more to 6 guns. Don't even shoot semi auto much, tired of picking up brass.

What's not to like? Looks like great fun if you can afford to feed it.

There's nothing like a "Well Aimed Shot".....
If I had an AR-15 with a 30 round mag and needed it to defend myself, my hope would be there would 30 less threats to my person....
I coach youth and adults in rifle, .22 and High Power, and I tell them a ten round rapid fire stage in 60 seconds is ten, "Well Aimed" shots. Six seconds per round....
A better use of your money would be to buy more ammo and practice rapid, "Well Aimed" shots. Practice getting your rifle into action quickly, and accurately.
Anything else is just noise, wasted ammo, shot up target holders and rounds over the berm.

Bought one.
Worked exactly as advertised.
Easy to control and shoot accurately.
Lots of fun (unless you're just a grumpy 'ol stick in the mud).
Sold it and replaced it with a MagPul
