Non-Smith Confession Time
So what, other than a Smith and Wesson is hiding in your gun safe, closet or wherever?
I would like to not think of myself as a gun snob. I enjoy alot of different firearms. As long as they do the job and are dependable.
Padre Jorge has opened the confessional.
I will not be too proud and start it off.
Lllama Maxi L/F .45 1911
A cheap, hated by many 1911 copy. Not the greatest detail to machine work, BUT..a great shooter with 3 dot factory sights and it eats every type of round I have put through it!
Inexpensive big bore auto fun !
I call this the Hungarian Goulash Gun...FEG P9R 9mm. Purchased LNIB for $200.Beautiful bluing and machine work. I love the hybrid Hi-power/Model 59 features. Great accurate fun shooter.
Ok, it's your turn ladies and gents..you'll feel better trust me.

Now, are you wanting just other brands, or the ones we wouldn't bring out to impress our friends and fellow collectors lol? I haven't bothered photographing it, but I'll confess that there is a Kimmel AP-9 hiding in my closet, well out of sight. Nothing like the universally despised TEC-9 and it's clones to get the people sneering!

Non-Smith Confession time... O.K. Mine is a Beretta 92FS that I bought just a few weeks ago. The other is a Rock Island Armory 1911 .45 ACP that I got last week in a double-header deal... saw it and a S&W 15-3 and took them both home.

I don't have any Tauri (isn't that the plural of Taurus?), but there may be an RG in there somewhere. Or two. One is a great little single action .22LR/.22WMR. The other is your typical RG. Like the man says, ya pays yer money and ya takes yer chances.

Hmm, too many that I care to reveal on the semi auto side, so, sticking to revolvers, I hate to admit that the inside of my safe holds a Ruger GP100 ( I'm sorry-I had to!) and an
Uberti Virginian (sigle action)

Ha, I think I got the only functional, non-cracked frame AP-9 in existence, so I'm hanging on to it. It's a fun novelty to waste some ammo on, not much more than that.
Surprisingly, my smiths get along just fine with all the rest of my nice firearms of different manufacturers in the safe, the AP-9 is the only red-headed stepchild of the group. Here is one that does make my Smiths a tad bit jealous...a Colt Camp Perry. I've been looking for a 3rd model Perfected .22 to even the balance, but haven't had the funds available when I've come across one yet. It will be an epic battle when I finally get one for top honors.

I won't bother with the bottom feeders. There are FEG, Ruger, SIG and RIA in there. No Smiths.
This is my first wheelgun. '82 vintage Taurus 669 .357 Magnum. Finish is beautiful, it shoots just fine. No hate for the Taurus here.

Ruger Security-six.
This was a evaluation gun for my department. Carried it for a year. They bought Model 65's and we got to buy these if we wanted them. The department purchased them outright and Ruger didn't want them back.
The price: $80
I still shoot it once in awhile.

LLAMA: what a PILE
I have a LLAMA 1911 .45 CAL want to be too. I purchased it in May of this year. it is a great looking gun. I bought it not knowing the company went out of biz. The first time i shot it in May the extractor few out of it and was lost forever. I tried to find a new one and found out the gun was not worth the steel its made out of. I hated to have a non working gun in my collection so i tried to sell it and found i over paid by about $400. i got an offer the have it crushed for free but did not except. I finally got a new extractor just to find out the extractor springs are no where to be found and cannot be bought. I had to cannabolize a bb gun to get a spring that worked and then pay a GS to drill the extractor and install the stupid thing $50. It works now as of 1 week ago and is my just in case gun that i keep above the dog bowl. But it does work now.
I also have a Hi-point C9. that is a very good gun and very accurate. I also just bought a HP- .40 Carbine. both are great little guns for the price. they both come with a lifetime warranty. can't beat that.

A High Standard Military 106 that I bought from my Dad (deceased) long time ago, and a Dan Wesson VBOB w/Duty finish coat that I acquired 2 months ago because I was tired of waiting for the "new" E-series bobbed Commander to hit the streets. Glad I did on the VBOB. Sure like it. I have a Gunsite 1911 that I like. Might sell that off and look into a Ed Brown. Can't have enough of a 1911 platform.

I don't feel too disloyal about the ole Dan Wesson .357 Mag. hangin' around the house. It was my first handgun, purchased used around the mid 1980's, and has served me well... a very accurate piece. I'd encourage anyone to try a DW if you haven't already.

Oh alright, I'll confess, I bought my wife a .380 Mustang Plus II. Me personally, all Smiths and proud of it. I have shot the Colt a few times only to make sure it's operating correctly because I love her.

Although I'm interested in Smith and Wesson revolvers (and have owned a few, way back when), my only firearm is currently a "C" series Browning Hi-Power from the Seventies. Completely stock and it looks just the same as when it came from Belgium.

My only non S&W handguns are a Colt Commander and T/C Contender.
I'm not sure about the Contender's status as non S&W now though.

WOW!
"All the gold in California is in a bank in Beverly Hills" and all the guns is in the collections of S&W Forum members.
My confession is I own two GLOCKs and a Charter Arms!
Hoping Santa Claus will bring me a S&W, however I keep putting my foot in my mouth and this might add to the "Jimmy's Naughty List".

Now that's something you don't see everyday... In fact, I think I have the only so modified gun in existence.

According to the Mrs., my biggest gun sins(because of price) would be my Browning Superpose Collection and my Westly-Richards underlever double in 450 3 1/4 N.E.
According to me, my biggest Gun sins, are the ones she don't know what I paid and the 2 RG 22's ( May I seek absolution on the 4"- it shoots well and kills critters in the basement.) Ivan

While my present passion tends to revolve around S&W blued steel K and N frames, I have been known to stray. Other camps include; Ruger, Beretta, SIG Sauer & of late Marlin.
I do draw the line at the non-metalic frame offerings from the dark side.

I like the old style H&R Defender revolvers. By old style I mean the self ejecting, large frame, adjustable sight, 38 S&W versions made in the 40's and I became interested in them when I found a military marked one from WW2. Hiding in the safe is also a Taurus 94, which gets shot a LOT and a 5" Phoenix HP22. The Phoenix I bought on a whim a few weeks ago. It was sitting in a "Used" case and I walked out with it for <$140 with a brick of hollow point 22 LR ammo. This cheap pistol has MoPC accuracy at 50' and after a brick of ammo has only had one FTF.

hot dang
I would like to have that collection . The oldest thing I got is an inherited shotgun WWII. The stock is a Vector, barrel i cannot even pronounce and so on, The Germans just took parts from whatever guns and fitted them together when they were invaded. Its a 16ga side by side. bought from a 15 year old kid for $12 after my grandfather took berlin. Maybe its a million dollar gun, maybe not. Its one of those things that i wanted since I was a kid so its priceless.

Cyrano , you'd certainly get yer money's worth out of a C&R license , yeah?
At one time , Colt's ruled the roost here , followed by Rugers. But thanks to you guys , my S&W collection has probably grown to outnumber both. Still have a smattering of 'other' makes though.
Other than S&Ws , my safe contains handguns made by;
AMT
Astra
Benelli
Colt
CZ
FN
Husqvarna
Kel-Tec
Mauser
Radom
Ruger
Seecamp
Sauer
Star
Uberti/Cimarron
Walther
