Default Anybody good on old pocket knife values?

This somewhat ****** picture is a Kissing Crane Congress four blade knife that has genuine mother of pearl handles. My father bought me this when we still lived in Detroit in about 1970, before I was a year old. It's never been used, and has been kept wrapped up with a very light coat of what I think it petroleum jelly on it. It's in flawless condition and has the cranes on all four blades with "germany" on the other side of each blade. I understand these knives are all made in China or Taiwan or some other third world country today. I was wondering if anyone had any idea on what the value of something like this is. To me, it's priceless, simply because my Dad bought it for me. He brought it to me tonight, and told me to hold on to it; he was cleaning out his dresser drawers and saw it in there. He's 81 now, and I think he just wants me to be the caretaker on things like these that we have now. I'd appreciate any replies; I'm just curious about these because I don't know much about them, and don't seem to see them very often.

Google "knife forum". I had the same type issue for some knives from my wifes stepdad's estate. There were a couple of forums I found that had tons of info. Probably the most accurate is to check Sleaze Bay and see if any of those knives are offered. Make sure to pay attention to the actual bids on a similar knive, alot of the sellers on that site attempt to retire on a single sale and never actually get a bid.
