OMG Can't remember seeing so much gun porn. Here's a sample of some of mine. I just got a new Nikon compact and I'll post some new ones when I get more time. These were taken about 10 years ago with a super ****** HP camera.

From the left, Double Eagle 10mm, SS 10mm and among the group a poly Colt 2000. Just put in a new photo of the 10mm Custom Shop Delta. The only one not in there is a 1991a1 45ss flat finish. It was a more recent aquisition three or four years ago. edit: Got off my lazy butt and snapped a mediocre pic of the 1991. Need more practice, huh.

On reflection, I realized I left out a couple of Colt DA target revolvers whose condition or interest meant they could have been included in my earlier post in this thread. So here they are now. Again, they are older specimens.

This one is an Officers Model in 38 Special from 1920, serial number 451417. I can shoot this one a little more accurately than my K-38s, perhaps because it is slightly heavier and I do better with heavier revolvers.

And then there is this somewhat rare .32 Officers Model from 1940 or 1941, serial number 643916. I think this one is unfired.

Sold off most of my Colts a few years ago but I kept these. One Python, two DB's, .22 and a .38. Then I picked up an old DS because the price was right.

A lot of nice Colts of all ages. I'll add some for those of you who like older Colts.

Here are a couple of 1860 Armys. ONe a U>S> and the other a civlilian. Both shipped in 1862.

Here is a Richards first Model Conversion 12 Stop, a pretty scarce variation.

Here is a U.S. Richards Conversion. The Cavalry's first cartridge revolver.

Here is an 1871-72 44 RF Open Top.

Here is an Ainsworth inspected Cavalry SAA.

A 45 Colt SAA shipped in 1875 with a Type 6 New Model Breach Loader in 38 RF.

A Bisley in 32-20 shipped in 1910.

Here is a New Police "Cop & Thug" in 38 CF.

A Model 1905 shipped in 1907.

Last for now is a Government Model from 1913.

Some beautiful Colts shown here gentlemen. Here's a couple that I'm fond of. They both have the Heavy Barrel option and are so marked on the barrel.

Just got another Python, wasn't really looking for one but sometimes you have to get things when you can. Here's a pic of my new nickle one and another pic of both of mine together.

Default Colt OfficersModel 38

I just purchased this gun at a local gun show. I am trying to date the gun and find out if Colt made this gun in Nickel. It appears to be original finish. I also posted this on the Colt forum. The patent #'s on the barrel are Aug. 5, 1884, June 5, 1900 and July 4, 1905. The model on the side of the barrel is officers model 38, it has a maltses cross before and after the roll mark.
The serial # is 4995xx.

[QUOTE=GA 1911;136318564]That is a Colt Officer's Target?. It looks like a second issue to me (1908-1940) due to the front sight. I've never seen one in nickel.

IMO, those grips are not original. A serial number would help (62XX or 491XX). It's still a very interesting revolver. You did very well.

The serial number is 4995xx It is a six digit number. There is a "Y" under the serial number.

Always wanted a set of genuine ivory slabs , but they're out of my price range. Don't like plastic. But I just got these buffalo bone grips on Ebay. Very nice natural glow to them , but the fake Colt medallions are a bit chintzy looking. I'll replace them.

Here's my one and only Colt. A six-inch Trooper Mk III .357. I just picked it up yesterday. I really like the "Satin Nickle" finish. Now the shootout begins, six-inch, 4-screw, M28 vs Colt Trooper Mk III.

Series 80 MKIV Officers Enhanced .45
2nd Gen SAA 5 1/2" Stagecoach .45
