Value check on Ivory Colt Grips and date of the gun.

Guys,

Needing some help on some Colt grips. Please keep in mind that I know nothing about Colts so be forgiving with my terminology. They are on a 22 New Frontier Colt with serial number G200666. Not sure if the gun is new production or older. They look like they don't fit the gun as they are a smidgen big so I am fairly certain they are not original.

I say they are factory because they have the silver medallions that don't look to be home installed. One panel has an eagle carving similar to what I have seen on some Elmer Keith guns with the wings extended. They are perfect and apparently not original to this gun.

Any idea on value of the grips or possible manufacture date of the gun?

I will be watching, I dont know but would like to too. Were I to make a wild early guess I would say about $350s. But I wouldnt lay out that much but someone might. Check the colt chat site. Hey, we may be neighbors?
