Browning 1911-22
I saw one of these it was a commemorative a while back. I am not that much into commemorative guns, but I liked the gun. I had the shop put my name on the list for a call when they get one in.
Then their was an article about them in an issue of American Rifleman. I wanted one even more.
Thursday the phone rings. They have one with my name on it.Woo Hoo.
It is something like 3/4 the size of a full sized 1911. I havn't shot it yet, but I think it is going to be a hoot.

Lot of fun to shoot.
I bought one to teach my daughter about 1911's. First time I testing it I banged through 550 rounds without a problem. The only reason I stopped was I ran out of ammo.
You need more than 1 mag though. You will find it easy to shoot, accurate an most important FUN!

I'm curious - does the slide lock back on the last round?

Yes.
Think of it just like a full sized 1911. Slide locks back, grip safety has to be depressed. Take down is essentially the same.
It is a fun gun to shoot. I just need more mags!
