How many knives
Gentlemen, how many knives do you carry in your pockets? I usually carry 3.

Well, glad to know I'm not odd. I usually carry three; a Kershaw Leek composite, a Spyderco Endura 4, and a Leatherman PST II.

The pistol changes from day to day but the knives(knifes?) stay the same. Randall Model 5 and Victorinox Officier. I don't carry them all the time. Only when I'm wearing pants.

One is enough. Usually Benchmade Auto Benchmite... or a Benchmade Prisidio... or a Case Camping knife. That's about it.

I carry two guns and two knives. Couldn't tell you why, just makes me feel better.
However, most people that carry knives use them for one thing and one thing only. Boxes and letters.
Using a knife for self defense ain't like the movies.

Around my place I carry two, a Kershaw Ken Onion with a half serrated blade. I won it in a shoot off at work. I also always carry the Cold Steel Voyager listed below. Always...
When I leave the place I carry a Swiss Army knife, a SOG Flash Fire II given to me by a co worker when I retired, and the Cold Steel 5" Voyager, given to me by Lynn Thompson. I figure if someone cares enough to give you a knife you should carry it.
If I am hunting I will add another knife or two, A Puma folder or the Blaser Knife made by Boker, or maybe one of my Randalls.
A knife is a very valuable tool. You should never be without one, or more...

Two knives and a multi-tool as stated above, only when I have pants on.
When I don't have pants on a knife is within easy reach.

I can't find my Swiss Army knife lately. I last used it to work on a weed cutter, can't seem to find it now. Maybe the camo color scheme wasn't the best choice for a handle color. Anyway that's what I generally carry. Since it is missing, I've beem substituting a generic and utterly expendable Smith and Wesson branded folder (made in the PRC under contract to Taylor Cutlery). Not much sense in losing anything better in the yard or whatever mysterious vortex eats pocket knives.

Anyone use the little Leatherman with scissors instead of pliers? Gave my daughter one, she loves it.
