Thank you - ran across them for a very reasonable price on ebay - turned out to be a local area seller who had ordered them from Eagle about 15 years ago.
They, plus the Tyler grip make this little Six weigh a ton but it's a great look and this revolver rarely gets any carry time.

2 weeks ago I also decided that is was time to add a Colt 1911 to my collection of handguns.
I narrowed my choices to the 2016 Lightweight Commander and the TALO Wiley Clapp CCO, after being unable which to decide on, I did this....

This one isn't a purchase, but rather a trade. Since the EoTech v.s. U.S. Government settlement and subsequent return of my EoTech, I have been stuck with an EoTech G33 magnifier. My friend wants an EoTech G33 magnifier for his AR, but his funds are tight. He has a pistol in his stable he was looking to sell. We traded. My magnifier for his Sig SP2022 + 3 additional mags.
This is the first pistol my friend ever purchased. I told him I'm not ever selling or trading it. If he ever wants his 1st pistol back, he knows where it is and we can work out a trade.

Ruger New Bearcat .22 SA revolver, dates to 1998. Pristine with original grips. No turn mark on cylinder. A keeper. Got it last Friday. Pick up 11/7/2016.

Whats your latest purchase? "guns/accesories"
Just bought an interesting item for my bug out bag. An Eton Scorpion 2 emergency solar/hand crank/USB chargeable radio (am/fm/ weather) that can charge your electronic devices. Splash proof with a built in caribiner. Pretty cool.

Found this old soldier at a recent El Paso gun show. It brings back memories; in the 1950s, when I was a teen ager I worked for a surveyor in western Connecticut. He carried the transit; I carried everything else. I've cut many a line of sight, some of them several hundred feet long, through the brush and woods with a Collins machete. He had a foot-operated sharpening stone wheel, about two feet in diameter; it sure would put an edge on that good Collins steel. I've seen him take down a four inch diameter tree with one of those, and the predominant tree in Connecticut is oak: It's HARD.
Connecticut had a lot of industry. The Connecticut river is navigable, and that's why both Colt, in Hartford, and Springfield Armory about 60 miles north are located on the river. It's easier to move heavy loads of steel and wood by water than by roads that back then were often just two tracks through the mud. There were lots of streams, too, and they were dammed to give water power before the age of steam. Now, they've taken out many of the dams and salmon are beginning to run in the streams as they did in colonial times. Collins axes and machetes were made in Collinsville, Winchester was in New Haven, Seth Thomas clocks were made in Thomaston, and Terry clocks in Terryville. Now with the interstates, Connecticut is mostly a bedroom community for New York and possibly Boston also and the majority community opinions reflect it.

Just another K of 9mm
Walked in my LGS yesterday. Lots of good stuff there. Things were selling briskly but not at what I would call a panic. Just constant. Less window shoppers and more buyers. I window shopped! Realized that I don't really want anything. There were a few good deals.....I could have walked out with a new G17 for just over $500 OTD ....but....meh..... didn't feel like spending the money. Colt AR for $800 but I already have 2. AKs were all lower end junk and besides I can already outfit several households with the AKs I have. Some good deals on HK USP45, compact 45 and HK45. I already have a USP45 full size and compact and while a spare wouldn't hurt I don't shootv45 that much. There was a M&P 38S&W but I don't want to buy that caliber. And so on. So I just picked up 3 AR mags and a HK USP40 compact mag from the used mag bin. At $15 I would have bought that regardless considering they're typically $30.

A single sided safety for my RIA 1911. The stock ambi safety is sharp and uncomfortable.
A Fusion main spring housing for my RIA 1911. The stock one is polymer (yuck).
I sent my RIA in for factory warranty service. The sights were way off. When I got it back, the note stated "Gunsmith recommends replacing recoil spring and main spring". There was no note that they actually did it. So a new main spring and recoil spring is here.
I'm not a fan of full length guide rods on a 1911, so I ordered a Wilson combat standard length guide rod, plug cap, and shock buffer.
I'm not a fan of the stock RIA beaver tail. I ordered a Wilson combat 'drop in' grip safety, but the notches are slightly different.
I ordered a case of .45 ACP and a case of 9mm.
When EoTech settled with the Government. I returned my EoTech for a full MSRP refund. I was stuck with an EoTech G3 Magnifier. I had a friend who wanted it, and he had a Sig SP2022 with three extra Sig factory magazines. We traded, so I now own a Sig SP2022 that is growing on me.

Ordered a Ruger LC9s at a nearby gunshop earlier this week, I've had the "envie", Cajun French for a strong hankering, for one for a while now. I figured it could be my Christmas present, wife agreed. It should be in before too long
The background check only took about 15 minutes to return an ok. I was thinking it might be much longer

I was starting to feel a little uneasy with all the handguns and a couple shotguns in the house. No kids here but don't like leaving on vacations, etc and not having them locked up. Most of my rifles/shotguns/etc are at my Dads house in his giant safe so I didn't want a great big one here. Scored this one at Menards for $399.00 today. Hid it in a spare room closet and bolted it to the floor. Picked up a couple more mags for the Glock too, that makes 6 of them. That should be enough. LOL

How much was it? They retail for around $1450. The idea was to make the FBI contract Professional model in a production gun. They are good and reliable guns. In another forum theres a guy who's keeping track of his TRP, which he uses to compete. As of this summer he was around 93,000 rounds.
I have one as well. Mine is a two tone

I've gone crazy in the past 3 weeks:
A Star Starfire M30MI
A 1903 Colt Hammerless from 1910
A 1903 Colt Hammerless from 1903
A S&W Victory (38 Special)
A Savage 87a .22 semi-auto rifle
A FEG B9R (.380)
A S&W Model 59
Two S&W Model 10-6s
A Savage 1917 (.380)
A Regent 100 (1911 clone)
I'm trying to remember the discussion I had with myself about downsizing.

I needed another .22LR pistol or revolver about as much as I need another dog, that said there are guns out there that just call to you! Having a soft spot for 6.875 inch barrel Ruger MKII's caused me to make what I consider to be a good deal yesterday.
My friendly (or is that Fiendly?) LGS has traded in several MKII and MKIII pistols since the arrival of the MKIV to help the takedown challenged masses. One, a stainless MKII Competition Target model 678CG with an old school, made in Sweden AimPoint 5000 caught my eye last month. I kept telling myself not to buy it because there are 3 Ruger MKs in the safe right now (though, in my defense there had been 5 in there last year). He wanted $365.
Well, I decided to part with my self-created two tone MKII 5.5 inch bull barrel target model. Blued upper, stainless lower which was created when I swapped the Volquartsen enhanced blued lower from the 5.5 inch onto my 6.875 inch stainless tapered barrel target model.
The deal- my two tone 5.5 inch and $113 out the door. I don't have a photo yet, so this one without the AimPoint will have to do.

Bought these reactive targets last week end. The one in pieces uses a 2x4 which I have since bought. The model 18 was used to test them out.

Bought these three in the last weeks of November.
Ruger LC9s and MKIV. Sig P226 DAK 40 cal.
Had no intention of buying an LC9s but it happened to be on Black Friday sale with savings of $100 on cost.
I also bought a rifle cabinet to free up space in my safe for the new handguns.

Got a LaRue Tactical MBT-2S trigger for my AR-15. First 2-stage trigger I've ever had. The trigger is just wonderful. Very happy with this purchase.

Merkel 147E cal. 12 - 2 3/4"
I had long thought about getting a side by side shotgun. I have a Remington 870SP Turkey Special that I had bought at Walmart and bagged many doves with and it really serves my purpose well. I had gotten a Merkel 200E over and under a few months ago for hunting and sporting purposes.
Since I don't need another shotgun but wanted one I thought that another addition should be a nice shotgun than what I have, an upgrade, something to make a good gift to my boys one day.
Gebr. Merkel, Suhl, 147E
While I did not find the time during daylight hours to make nice photos, I have shot it already and it is officially approved by Andyd!

New
I've put thousands of rounds through this MKIII. But recently in-filled the LCI and added some Ruger thumb-rest grips.

Picked up a very lightly used Gen 3, Glock 19 yesterday. Not my first Glock but it is my first G19. Haven't had it to the range yet but as far as the cleaning/fondling stage goes I'm very pleased!

I threw out all the cheap universal cleaning junk. Bought a Dewey Brass Rod , Graphite Rod , Brass Jigs, Loops and Bench Grade Brushes. I also bought a Henry .22 on sale for my Christmas
