Very last 1 is a Jericho 941 in .40 cal. (DECEMBER) A surplus gun that was bought on G.B. It was unissued in a generic box for $420. Spotless. Have not taken it to the range yet. My son has 1 in .45ACP, so I know what to expect. Bob
Took it to the range, and it functioned flawlessly. Do like the CZ style steel guns!

I attended a "gun auction" in Canton, TX. last Saturday night. Started at 5 pm and ended at 11 pm. Then took an hour more for paperwork/checkout.
I bought a Marlin 22 mag rifle and a Ruger SP 101 357 2"bbl, and a Walther "Creed" 9mm.
All were new in the box.
A packed house!!!! I mean all seats were full, and most likely all were "carrying concealed".
Security was also everywhere !!!!!!! Very safe and well run. I'll go again sometime.

My recent acquisition of the above might mean that I have reached the steel ceiling of advanced intermediate firearm collecting.

I added a rail to my Firestorm Gov't Deluxe Model 45 by installing the Recover brand grip/rail combination. Fit is very good and the ergonomics are also just fine. $40 to add a highly functional accessory rail is a very good deal. The $35 light I mounted works quite nicely too. The 45 is now our 'Surprise' I didn't think you had a gun there house pistol.

My latest purchase was a 20", rifled barrel for my Remington 870. There will be completely separate thread for that (maybe a bear gun thread?) after I test it out!

One-thousand, six-hundred and thirty three posts? Ya'll are keeping the economy humming!
Might as well pile on:
Just received this today, literally haven't even knocked the dust off of it.
It is actually better than described in the listing I bought it from, in fact the seller said it only had one magazine. Perhaps he meant everything is part of the Oneness.
Can't wait to shoot it along side the 9mm one I already have, to compare the differences in the rounds - I've never shot a .30 Luger.
The safety is marked Gesichert (standard production) instead of Safety, the box is marked Interarms. Used what they had, I reckon. If I'm reading the tables correctly, it would have been made toward the end of 29/70 production in 1972.

4000rds of Winchester M22 off Armslist, good price. Shot 600 today through my 617 and K22, shot great and ejected well out of my K22 which is good. Most through the 617.

For my pre-27
(shown on the grip seller's 28-2)
BTW I want the Forum to know that I am not heartless--I do feel for the pre-29 suffering the loss of its original grips. Nevertheless, although my empathy is sincere, I will not lose any sleep over it.

The Lanchester arrived from the dealer in Florida to the Nevada dealer on February 15, I did the paperwork to get it transferred to me on February 16, and the paperwork plus the check for $200 were in the mail the morning of February 17. I do have an 03FFL. I hope that will speed up the approval process. Otherwise I was told to expect the approval of the transfer to come in August or September. My son took a picture of me with the Lanchester at the Nevada gun store, but he has forbidden me from showing it to anyone. He says it is embarrassing. Think of Strother Martin kissing the barrel of his Springfield in The Wild Bunch. Also, my California friends still think I'm nuts.

If that's a duplicate post then I purchased a Sig p320 9mm 21 round magazine.
I am so pleased with that gun purchase.
Oh yeah and a IWB holster.

didn't get this one. It wasn't a .38 special and the seller took it back. Very nice of them.

My latest - a Ruger R1 SS CMD ''Enhanced". NIB at a price I couldn't refuse.
With two SS R1s, two blued R1s and a Colt "Gold Cup" in the locker, I didn't really NEED it so much as WANT it.
I've had several 1911s over the years and used them in IPSC/IDPA, but never a Commander. Gotta wait for the approval of "Big Brother" and really looking forward to it.
I got away from my 1911s in IDPA, shooting my S&W M19/M60 snubs, but this may bring me back.

Three (3) NOE bullet moulds:
1.) NOE's creation of the now discontinued Lyman 358432 design.
Noe calls it 360-160-WC (PB) it is a 160 grain button nosed full wadcutter. It has proven to be the most accurate bullet in my 38 special revolvers. I try a lot of different ones and this one keeps grouping the tightest. From J-frame , K-frame and a 357 Blackhawk.
2.) This same design in 41 cal. NOE 413-215-WC (PB)
It weighs the classic 215 grains and if it's half as accurate as the 38 version I'll be happy.
3.) A 41 magnum Elmer Keith Signature Series mould, Has his John Hancock engraved right on the side of the mould.
NOE 412-237-SWC Keith (PB). It's Elmer's classic SWC design , heavy for caliber , 237 grains and with the plain base of course.
All three are in aluminum and 3 cavity moulds. I cast with a ladle and find 3 cavities to be just right, they are hard to find now days , most are 2 or 4 or 6 cavity. I like them !
