I got this Morseth at the Las Cruces gun show today. The blade is also stamped 1990; date of manufacture? I doubt the handle is ivory.
The Buck skinner came out of an El Paso gun show a few months ago that I forgot to post. I'm told it dates from the 1970s.
Edited to add: At the Las Cruces show I looked at a nice little S&W folder; then saw it was 'Made in China' so put it down. Also looked at a Browning, since I don't have one in my accumulation, but it, too, was Made in China. I have no first hand experience, but I don't hear good things about knives made in China.

Now be honest. Do you sleep better at night knowing that somewhere out there there's a bad guy with an AK with only half a grip?

Not a Smith, but a 1951 Colt Detective Special I picked up last week for $460. I was in the big LGS in Macon today and they were talking about raising their online auction prices on all the old DS they had up for sale. I think I did really good just in time. LE gun too.

Whats your latest purchase? "guns/accesories"
This 3" Model 36 in shiny nickel from 1974. I pick it up tomorrow. This will be a shooter and I think I'm going to try my first Tyler T Grip on this one.

A new stainless Model 60. I have missed it, since I sold the original one to finance new semi-auto's when LE changed over. This one will shoot .357, which I sure won't carry in it.

An old Ruger Standard with a lot of carry wear and barely a hint of dust or burnt powder, let alone rust, on the inside. Tucked away in the far back corner of one of my favorite LGS, she reminded way too much of the one I had as a kid to pass up for two bills.

My three latest purchaces ...
I recently bought this 4516-2:
It came with 10 magazines, so I bought this 457 to develop as a carry gun:
This 4546 is a DAO commander sized .45 and I just sent the slide back to Trijicon to be re-lamped:
digiroc
Here is a 7 yd test fire of the 4546:

Trading a Glock 26 for a Glock 43 Saturday. My EDC is a G27 converted to 357 Sig with 40 S & W and 9mm barrels. Wife limp-wrists the G26 and loves the G43, so I don't need the G26.

I finally saved enough money and got my wife's approval to buy a brand new Gen 4 Glock 21. I am really excited about it and can't wait to schedule a trip to the shooting range. My last .45 was the 1911 I shot and qualified with in the Marine Corps (more years ago than I care to remember).

A Primary Arms refurb microdot with fixed base. I'm mounting it to my AK-M. It's a range fun only rifle, so no need to spend crazy money on an Aimpoint or Trijicon.

As near as I could tell from the poor resolution of the photos, I believe those are TORX. TORX bits are fairly common.

Got these three knives at the Albuquerque Gun Show last weekend. Top is a Puma, middle a Case and the bottom is a tiny, all metal Spyderco, made in China, unfortunatly. Shame on you, Spyderco.

I realize the other day I've bought four 4" revolvers, and didn't have a holster to carry any of them. I took care of the problem and got them in the mail today.I also bought a holster for my 2,5" .44 Special.
Glaco Redhawk & two Bianchi Gunleather Holsters.
