Yep, I took a chance. The gun is about 95% and has a few scuffs but nothing major. A good buy at $405 delivered to my dealer, imo.
3 mags, too.

These are nice. I bought one a few weeks ago. I replaced the grip with a new OEM. Looks like new now. You owe it to yourself to shoot it

Found a pretty darn clean 1999 Marlin 25MN .22 Mag rifle at my favorite gun shop yesterday. Got it for $150 out the door.
I already ordered the Rifle Basix trigger for it from EBCO, which cost more than half what the rifle did!

I'm shifting from 9mm to .32 acp now, as there are some interesting specimens out there.
My latest...
I'm actually trying to hold off buying things for awhile, but deals like this keep me at it. The seller charged $29 for shipping, and my FFL charged another $20. That brought the overall price to $182...

It's an underappreciated round, and is my choice over the 380 for very small pistols

1K round case of Privi PPU 124gr 9mm NATO. It was on temporary sale. It worked out to 19¢ per round shipped. Last time I bought a case of comparable spec ammo back in June 2016, it was 24¢ per round shipped.
Been a while since I've seen 115gr practice ammo as low as 19¢ per round total cost, let alone 124gr NATO.
19¢ X 50 = $9.50 per 50 round box.

I've seen grips like these advertised on a Turkish website, but never bought them. I saw these come up on eBay, and bought them. They don't fit too well, but they feel good in the hand, and they look good to boot. They actually look better in person; these pictures make them look like they are out of proportion to the revolver.

Just purchasing wood grips for now. But I have the urge to go browsing for what I'm not sure yet I just got the urge. Maybe a 8 shot Redhawk or s&w? The 4.2" barreled Redhawk in 41 mag could be my new ccw gun.

My new 638. I picked this up for when I pocket carry. Took it to the range Saturday and for a little tyke it is more accurate than me.
I was actually surprised how well I do with it.

Bought a 4" switchblade for carry and a set of Surefire EP-7 earplugs. I plan on wearing the earplugs whenever I have a gun with me. Maybe I will not go deaf if I get into a bad situation or just fire a gun at any time.
By friends positive recommendation I decided to give them a try. Check them out.

Purchased a hat trick of handguns in the last month....have not had the opportunity to shoot any of them yet
The first being a very clean Model 439. No box came with it, darnit.
Bought my first ever '1911'... a Ruger SR1911 in 10mm. I'm a big fan of 10mm and can't wait to try this at the range.
The other is a very nice Jovino 25-2 .45 ACP. I might have it lettered just to see where it was shipped to. A lot of gunsmiths did similar custom work, but everything looks correct for Jovinos work.

Whats your latest purchase? "guns/accesories"
Bud's had these on sale since Colt Competiton went out of business this past spring.

It finally went to the range yesterday! It functioned great with Mini Mags! (don't know about others) No feed issues of any kind. I was shooting gongs at 25 yards with virtually no misses. Made me happy! Bob

I wasn't looking for another .22 rifle, however I came across this extremely clean Remington 552 Speedmaster with a Bushnell 3-9X40. Showed it to my wife and she loved it. Best part $272 OTD! - I changed out the scope for a Hawke 3-9x40 AO and a better mount (shown in photos). Shoots very good too, though I need different mount to get the scope back farther.

Picked up my LH Ruger American Ranch in .450 Bushmaster.
Not many of these out in the wild. Special order for a Michigan shop. Now Ruger is making both the Scout and the Ranch in RH model, but no factory lefties quite yet. Unlike the factory guns, this one didn't have a muzzle brake, so I ordered a Wilson Combat which also arrived today.
Rifle is almost toy-like in weight. I think a cheek pad is almost a necessity with this one!

Bought a model 60-15 in .357. I was interested in them and found one in a private sale that I picked up on my way to the hospital for a full hip replacement. Made the operation go better!!

WWII 1911 Magazine with "C-R floorplate" to indicate it was made by Risdon for Colt.
Pictured at right with magazines made by: Colt (blank), Scovill for Colt (C-S) and Little for Colt (C-L)
This completed my set of 1911 WWII Magazines
Others already in the fold include Little, General Shaver, Scovill and Risdon magazines made for non-Colt Manufacturers

Aero Precision stripped lower and trigger guard, DPMS lower parts kit, AR Stoner A3 complete upper and UTG A2 stock. $348 total. Got the big pieces on sale. Could have shaved of another $20 by using the trigger guard that came with the parts kit. All USA made except for the stock.
