I bought this Star BM for $249 this morning at the local gun shop. It's been shot very little, the bore is perfect, the slide and frame fit is tight and there is no wear or rounding on the shoulders of the locking lugs:

Scored a Winchester 1895 takedown in 30.06, NIB. This is from the centennial batch they did in 2005 if I have my facts straight. Case colored receiver, very nice wood, well checkered and smooth action. This will be a shooter.

My latest is an AR pistol that I finally completed and fired for first time this past Saturday;
Started on it last April (17) and bought parts as I found sales or good deals.
Aero Precision lower and Anchor Harvey upper with Palmetto LPK, UPK, CH, BCG and a KAK Shockwave brace kit. 8 Ballistic Advantage barrel, Lo-Pro .750 gas block and tube with a KAK flash can. Skull Tactical (NSR knockoff) 9 Keymod rail with AFG. Magpul MBUS Gen 2 sights.
Tree stump pic is five rounds fired offhand at 10 yards aiming at a dark spot in the bark. I believe I could do better aiming at an actual target. 55gr PMC FMJ.

Still having trouble accepting polymer guns but coming around. Picked up a Springfield XD Mod.2 Tactical yesterday, went to the range today and ran 200 rounds through it. Man that thing is sweet. Still not what I would spend any length of time just looking at and admiring but I will admit it is one fine shooter. It didn't flinch one bit, hollow points, Plus P's, any reloads I ran through it. Grip angle is as close to 1911's as I've seen.

Recently acquired a NOS, 1995 production, SIG P229 9MM with Legacy type slide. Not NOS anymore. Had one years ago that I foolishly let get away. Think I'll hang on to this one

A couple years back, I sold a Ruger P90. Don't really know why? I liked it even though they are not popular. It was clean, with box etc.
Then I was surfing a "gun classified" site, and saw another for cheaper than I sold my old 1 for. Told seller, was going to pass. He dropped the price another $50. Seller met me half way. HAD to do it. Next to new! Spent case 10/2000. Can't wait to shoot it! Bob

Apparently, you'll be much less murderous in 10 days with your Beretta than you are now with your Henry. I've never understood California.

Bought this High Point 4595 carbine on Gun Broker today for $200 + USPS shipping.
All said & done it ought to be around $250 with shipping & FFL. I like to have a carbine for every one of my pistol calibers and 45ACP was the only one I was missing - til now...

Bought a Mershon Grip Adapter today, and was wondering what it fit. Plan on selling it as I have no use for them. (don't like adapters) Only marking as far as a number is 6 on the back side. It would help to know what it fit. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Bob
This is FREE to someone that will use it on their Colt medium frame revolver. P.M. me. Bob

Bought a new Glock 43. Needed something smaller than my compact Glock 357 Sig. I realized that the larger Glock was getting taken out of the holster and stashed in a pocket for short errands. Although a 9mm and only 6 (8 with mag extender), it'll do for runs to the market.

I was at my LGS to pick up my Beretta 92S. The guy helping me made the mistake of telling me that they had 9mm ammo on sale, so along with the 92S I brought home 1000 rds of 9mm for the 92S.

Just picked up a well used Ithaca Model 37 Deerslayer. I had originally gone to the shop to put a 5906 on lay away but it was gone, so in order to make myself happy again I purchased the 37. It serial numbers to 1966 and is in good condition. I need to redo the stock and do a good cleaning. The only thing wrong is it is missing the original rear sight ( ladder type) someone replaced it with a folder. Anyone have knowledge of were I can get a replacement?

Casually browsing GB the other day, looked around at some lower-priced guns.
I'm noticing that not all guns show up if you search by brand
Anyway, digging around in the lower priced pistols, came across the following:
USED MAUSER 1914 7.65 .32 ACP 3.5in Barrel
Buy Now price: 152.25
shipping: 15.99 ground
Should arrive later this week.

Astra A80 .38 Super
An absolute impulse purchase. We were at the LGS to pick up my bride's new Kimber Micro 9 CDP. I was looking at this, which was on consignment. I asked (thinking out loud) if the seller would take $50 less than the tag price. The salesman checked his book and said yes, he would. The light of my life reached over my shoulder and dropped the price, in cash, on the counter. A good woman is hard to find...but not impossible.
Puts lead right where you want it and brass everywhere. (The Astra, not the wife).

My last new purchase was a Springfield Armory 911 380. a month ago I bought a Henry Big Boy 45 colt and a Ruger Mini 30, I have on order a Stabilizer bar for the Mini 30. January I found a Ruger Deerfield 44mag carbine. I save my money search and research until I find the next thing, I sold 2 guns that i bought but didn't really like. I was able to recover 95% of what i bought them for and that helped to pay for my like three guns.

Model 29-2 nickel that I picked up in a trade Sunday at the gun show. Traded a 686-3 6", no box or papers. Very nice gun. Seller had 29 tagged at $950. (no box or papers) Asked if he was interested in the 686. He said sure, and traded even. It has not been fired much, and is in very good shape. It is ported, but may be a good thing. I did change the stocks. Bob

Hi, I have 2 FREE items for someone that will use them on their own gun. To the best of my knowledge, they are medium frame Colt. P.M. gets them. Will note on post when unavailable.
I am doing this so they can be enjoyed. Bob

We picked up this one about a month ago.
Ruger AR556. Now both of us have our own AR. Also picked up another 20 count of 20 round magazines which we both like how they handle better than the 30 round magazines. Picked up a new rifle, more magazines and made a donation to the NRA 3 things to help with the firearms cause.

Just bought a bunch of magazines for my Glock 19X and my AR, a VMX magnifier for my Strikefire Red Dot on the Ar, and a set of ghost ring night sights for the 19X. Waiting on a fella to pull the trigger on a Glock 43 I want to buy from him . . .

I don't particularly like nor dislike AR-15's. I haven't owned one in years, but I found a Spikes Tactical "Snowflake" AR lower. The lower made me laugh.
I accumulated parts, dusted off the build tools:
- DPMS lower parts kit
- ALG QCT AR-15 Trigger
- BCM MOD 0 Grip
- Damage Industries Enhanced Mil-Spec Receiver Extension Kit with Chrome Silicone buffer spring & QD End-plate.
- H-Buffer
- Aero Precision Upper Receiver
- 16" Colt Competition 1:8, 4140, Nitrided, SOCOM profile carbine gas length barrel
- YHM low-pro gas block
- Carbine length gas tube from my parts bin
- BCM Compensator MOD 1
- BCM KMR13 Free Float Hand-guard
- MAGPUL MBUS front/rear backup sights
- Fail Zero Ni-BX lightweight BCG
- Sig Romeo 4 dot
Not bad for a range-fun rifle if I do say so myself.

Bought a Glock 43 today, had to cancel a Ghost Ring night sight purchase for my 19X to help the bottom line. Next up: Mossberg 590 Shockwave in .410 . . .

Five more magazines for my Swedish Husqvarna Lahti in 9mm parabellium/Luger. It’s a sweet heavy piece.

Finally found a Leupold VX3 2.5 -8 x 32mm handgun scope for my 460XVR. Should be here by the weekend so I can mount it and hit the range on Monday to sight it in. Pretty excited.
