TR Enabling/Remsport .40 to 9mm conversion barrel for my Shield. Yesterday was the first range day, all went well with not a glitch. Truly a drop in part.
And an additional 8 round magazine from an Ebay seller. $19.95 and free shipping. A trip to Cabela's last week found the same magazine for sale at $37.95. Should have bought two from the 'bay, may order another one.

I bought it because of the safety and the trigger.
Not knocking SW but I just don't get along with the split trigger.
Chamber plug is still in for this photo.

Put an M-CARBO Picatinny Rail on my Marlin Papoose
M-CARBO Marlin 60/795 post 2008 Picatinni rail/scope mount.
It's a perfect fit on my newer Papoose!
It only took a couple of minutes to install.
After the blue locktite has had a day or two to dry, guess what I'm taking to the range with a red-dot!

I realized you can't do everything yourself, or at least I can't. I ordered a McMillan stock earlier this year and when it came in I decided I'd go for it and got the shop to build me a replica M40a1. I'm currently waiting for it to show up in the mail, hoping it arrives tomorrow.
Its not a down-to-the-last detail repro, they built it using a current production SPS Rem 700 and I had the stock built the way I wanted.
When it lands I'll bolt my USO MST-100 on with a Leupold mount and call it good. I've got a mountain of 175 gr SMK so I should be able to keep myself entertained for a day or so.

1. Ruger EC9s for $175.00.
2. Spare 7 round mag 23.00.
3. Spare 9 round magazine $30.00.
4. DeSantis holster (used) $24.00 including shipping.
5. Hogue Handall sleeve less than $10.00.
The gun was at a pawn shop. Ordered the 7 rounder, went to the range, added to the carry guns. Ordered the 9 rounder, the little Ruger became frequent carry. Ordered the DeSantis holster when it went from $40.00 to $20.00. Ordered the Hogue sleeve, the Ruger is now my "in town" EDC.

120 rounds of 20ga ammo from a member on here. Thanks Mercs!! Now between my Stevens 311, Remington 870, and Savage 24V, I'll have deer and defense rounds besides the bird stuff! Maybe even in the L.C.Smith!

Oh and ummm..... 2 more shotguns..... a 10 guage h&r and a 12 gauge Winchester semi auto. Think i may have a problem...... might have to buy another gun safe to remedy that.

My M40a1 replica came in today, pretty pleased with it so far. Haven't fired it yet, but hoping maybe tomorrow.
Slicked up and lapped action/bolt, 24 inch Rock Creek barrel with the correct USMC profile and a cerakote finish. Bedded into a McMillan HTG stock. Can't wait to get out shooting!
Its a heavy sucker, probably won't be doing many offhand standing shots....

I know that is nothing special, but I purchased my 1st new shotgun in around 30 years. Bought it yesterday; Mossberg 500, .410 with a 24" barrel. Needed a lightweight for "critters". Groundhogs, possums, coons , etc, look out! Not much of a selection out there in .410. Bob

First dedicated “long range” gun.
RPR, Timney trigger and a few more mods including Krylon covered a botched cerakote job.
Here we go.

I picked up a Colt R6430 Sporter Lightweight 9mm carbine at a gunshow this weekend. It's one of the last pre-ban carbines Colt made in 1993-94.
At around 3 MOA, it is not as accurate as my two other 9mm AR builds but it was still hitting a full size IPSC silhouette plate at 200 yards 100% of the time with a Colt 3x20 scope mounted on the carry handle. When zeroed for 100 yards, the 500 yard setting on the scope worked fine at 200 yards using 115 gr HAPs at 1525 fps.
It functioned perfectly with it's original Colt 20 round magazine as well as with 32 round Metalform magazines, but had some issues with converted Uzi magazines.

I have a Winchester model 94 that was burned up in a house fire.
All wood was replaced with new, and all steel was Cera-Koated!!
Now a beautiful rifle and shoots straight. All rounds in a 4 inch circle at 100 yards, open sights.

Whats your latest purchase? "guns/accesories"
I try to stay away from this thread, but every time I say I won’t be back I go and do it again....this time it was serial acquisitions......a saint in .308 set up for a trip to California to help a friend eradicate some pigs on his acreage and then a Garand. I am sure I could’ve taken one of my colt 901s but didn’t want to chance it so I bought a California configured and serial numbered Saint that if I run into any issues the rifle is on record as Cali compliant. You should have seen the look on the sales guy when I asked for the Cali compliant one.....I am in Texas....haha, easy enough to turn it back to a free state rifle when I get back......never had a Garand so finally found a post war CMP one that was too good to pass up....I promise myself that I won’t be back to this thread until 2020......

Got me one of these critters. A North American Arms Wasp. Has cylinders for .22 Magnum and .22 Long Rifle. Took it to the range today and it was supprisingly accurate at 15 feet. Nice last ditch option.

Texas Grips walnut grips for my XR3-Red frame Rugers - didn't fit my "old" new Vaquero (1999), the frame is a bit short - sharp bottom edges, but fit my new Wrangler like a glove. Finish is a mirror.

I'm a sucker for nice wood on a rifle. It is what caught my eye when I saw this little BRNO ZKM No. 5 .22 LR. Nice wood and classic European lines made it irresistible. Best of all it is great little shooter.

I paid off my SW40VE and took it home with me today.
As soon as I got it home I stripped it and gave it a proper cleaning and lube job with Balisol. The gun was a little bit dirty, so evidently it had been shot without being cleaned prior to being sold. That being said, taking it apart and cleaning it thoroughly revealed just how little this gun had been fired. The gun is in pristine condition save for a minor bit of visible wear on contact points of the barrel such as the underside where it comes into contact with the recoil spring and the barrel hood in the form of a shiny spot which stands out among the matte bead-blasted finish on the rest of the barrel and slide.
The SW40VE came complete with the factory blue plastic clamshell case, a 10 round magazine, owner's manual, and a little envelope containing the spent brass from when it was test fired at the factory. The envelope is dated 04/13/2004, which fits with the manufacturing date I received from Smith & Wesson when I e-mailed them about it, and considering the condition the gun is in, I can only assume that this gun was purchased for Home Defense, shot very little just to confirm reliability, then sat inside a dresser drawer or something until recently when it arrived at my LGS.
The gun feels great in my hand, points naturally, and the trigger pull is crisp and smooth in spite of weighing a good 10lbs by the feel of it, which doesn't bother me at all since I'm used to DA triggers. It's also worth noting that when I took it down for cleaning I checked and the trigger appears to be completely unmodified from its factory configuration. The pigtail spring hasn't been removed or anything, so I shouldn't have to worry about it being able to function with full power ammunition.
Unfortunately it was already sundown by the time I was able to take any pics, so they didn't turn out very well, plus I'm still using my Fire Tablet to take pics because I still haven't found the charger for my digital camera and keep forgetting to buy a replacement, so this is the best I've got.
All in all, I feel that this was $199 well spent. I think it will serve me well as my new Winter carry gun.

[IMG] [/IMG]1969/70 Model 60 S&W airweight in stainless.I think it is referred to as a humpback I call it a hooded trigger. No box came with it but I did get a hard case and sticky holster with it. It is a little flashy for me but a hard to find (in my area) revolver added to my safe.
Correction it is a model 38, thanks for the pm letting me know I mislabeled it!

Picked up another 9 round magazine for my EC9s and a box of 115 grain SIG 9x19mm V-Crown ammo to top off my magazines. Purchases at Action Arms in Tulsa.
My next planned purchase is a Delton AR-15 pistol with 7.5 inch barrel in 5.56x45mm and an armbrace or a Midland Arms Backpacker 12 gauge.

Picked this up today:
It's a Chinese copy of the 1887, but I couldn't resist when I discovered they are <$350 shipped. I own a bunch of guns and have one heirloom shotgun from my grandfather, so this is the first scattergun I have bought.
When I picked it up, the LGS had a bunch of shotgun shells on the clearance rack, so I also bought 200 rounds of bird shot for $40.

Just sent off my 627-5 to have a high polished SS chrome bright appearance.
I also ordered a set of Hogue Bantam Pau Ferro wood grips to install on the 627 when I get it back polished.
