Bought a Specter brand sling for the mini 30.
A spare cylinder for the 686-4 + to send off to Gemini Customs to be cut for moonclips and fitted.
Also hit the local Scheels to see what S&W trade-ins were in the cases. Nothing I needed, but I did end up buying some CCI 22 Mag, and Fiocchi 10mm 180 gr. JHP. Everything they have in the ammo section is at pre-panic prices, which is shocking...but there is a limit of 4 boxes per caliber

Doctor recommended I try a belly band to support my surgical hernia so I ordered a belly band holster. Took the opportunity to pick up a few Glock mags and a Holosun and a few random bits to put together an M4gery from the parts pile.

Bought some Chip McCormick extended mags for my first and only 1911...a 10mm Ruger SR. I learned from the 1911 gurus that .45 mags would work for 10mm, and at first i was somewhat surprised, but then remembered that the first 1006s were developed using 4506 mags. Good to know. These should hold 11 rounds of 10.

My absolute latest is a Colt WW2 "1943" reproduction from 2004.
But despite all the weirdness of 2020, it's been a good year for me on the firearms front I must say.

I’ve been on the lookout for a compact 9 but in the current madness they are unobtainium around here.
I had to take a long drive to reset the emission monitors on my Jeep so I headed to my nearest Rural King(30 odd miles) just to look around.
Hitting the firearms dept I was surprised to see a bunch of 9s in stock.
One was a Taurus(I know)G3C. Hickok45 seemed to like it other than it was too small for his big paws.
At $259 if I decide to sell it later I won’t get hurt too bad.
I have many other guns for social work. This is just a fun gun, for now.
I also recently bought a stainless Ruger Single Six. I had one years back that I sold off like a knucklehead. The stars aligned(my cash+nice used). So it came to it’s “forever home”.
Also 2 boxes of Geco 115gr. 9mm from RK.

My latest purchase was this new Springfield RO Elite Operator 10mm that I picked up today. I haven't had a 10mm since I owned a 1066 a number of years ago and let it get away. I decided to go with the 1911 platform, since S&W has yet to give us an M&P in 10mm.

An H&K P7M8 and a Sig P210(German) For Pictures see Post #39 in my thread on the P7.
Questions about the H&K P7M8
And add those to the Ruger 57 last month, my gun money stash is in negative numbers! But ya gotta buy 'em when they appear.
And added a Mircotech Exocet to my little collection of autos. Yes, I picked purple.
Heavy duty, spine fire, California legal. The clip doubles as a money clip.

The other day I went into a local Sportsman’s Warehouse merely to look for reloading supplies and ammo. I walked out with a VX6HD 2-12 with CDS windplex firedot and a Christiansen Arms Mesa in 6.5 CR, with Warne picatinny base to mate the two.
Later that day I went to Walmart to pick up cottage cheese. I walked out with the cottage cheese, 100 6.5mm 120 gr Sierra HPBT, 200 Speer 130 .277 and a set of RCBS 6.5 CR dies.
After Walmart I stopped by an LGS who had bundles of 5 Magpul AR mags for $50, so I snagged one along with 100 Hornady 6.5 CR brass and 30mm Seekins Precision rings for the new VX6.
I needed a nap...

Walther PP .22 l.r. in the original case. It appears to be unfired, which I will change. I found a Nill grip in my parts box for it already.

I just added a Largo barrel for my Star Modelo B Super, along with half a case of surplus and 100 rds of new loaded Largo ammo. After shooting some of the new stuff, I have another half-case on the way.
Given the current environment and the uncertainty of what's to come, I figure that expanding my ammo options is a good thing.

A few boxes of Underwood .357 Sig ammo at $1/round. Not bad at all considering the ammo situation.

Four boxes of .455 Webley shells. Right now they are easier to find than 9MM Luger or .380 ACP.

My latest is a Kadet 2 22LR upper for my CZ75B. I always wanted one, and the current prices on CF ammo made a decent price even more palatable. Fun addition to one of my favorite pistols.

My bucket list has included an early Detonics .45acp. Finally found and purchased this guy. Detonics were made from 1976 to 1987. And this one is ca.mid to late 1979 .

The designers wanted the gun to be carried in "condition 2"; (hammer down on a chambered round). The top rear of the slide allowed for a natural hammer cocking position with the thumb as the pistol was drawn from holster.

I love the look of those. Congrats.
Having owned a Colt Defender, I couldn't get over how heavy the Detonics was when I held it. Solid gun!

Yesterday, I saw a vintage (all steel) Lyman receiver sight for a Marlin 1894. The price was very reasonable. Of course, I had to buy it.
The thing is, my only 1894 (.41 Rem Mag) already wears a receiver sight.
I know where a clean .357 1894 is currently for sale...
