Sold my old Browning 1919 machine gun last year and ended up with a couple cases of 30-06 left over. Fortunately found a Ruger American 30-06. I already have two Americans, a 6.5 CM and a 7.62x39, have had very good luck with them. Can't wait to start turning my shoulder purple with it.

My latest toy, a Christmas present to myself. 50 caliber Traditions Deerhunter flintlock. 21st century addons to 18th century technology. Synthetic stock that doesn't feel like plastic, high-vis sight, real sling swivels. Well made in Spain. Wonder if I can fit a red dot. LoL

A few months back I got a Rem 742 in 30-06 with a 3 x 9 Simmons scope for 250 bucks. Yesterday I traded it for a nice Rem 788 in 6mm Rem caliber. I also got an extra mag in the deal. The 788 also has a Simmons scope...but I did get the original sights that had been removed. Luckily I have quite a few boxes of 6mm Rem ammo and a lot of brass. Going to put a Bushnell Legend 4 x 12 on it. Coyote season is upon us

I ordered n frame Thailand grips, k/L Thailand grips and South African hardwood grips for my 1911a1 to replace rubber grips. Fancy wood.
I went to purchase brass cases, bullets or ammo and it’s market out of stock.

Picked up the last three boxes available of Lehigh’s .45acp. I was pleasantly surprised to see it, as every thing else of theirs is zeroed out, as is my other favorite, Underwood ammo.
Such is life these days I guess.

Bought a gently used Sig P938 with night sights , 2 mags and case for $359 today.
Also bought a CZ SP01 Tactical that has a new Cajunized trigger, 6 magazines (22 round mags from Taran Tactical) milled for optic and a Vortex venom optic on it. I was able to get to the range today. What a joy the CZ is to shoot. I have a CZ75 BD with an optic I put on myself that I will be selling now. The 938 ran great. This is my 3rd one. the price was too low to pass up.

Found a 2 box of SB 10mm and 357 Sig FMJ for normal pre pandemic pricing.
I’m in the market for a good range bag. But haven’t found one I like. My old one has seen better days.

Swede M96 with VG bore, all matching numbers and original sling. It's too bad about Springfield Sporters. I used to drool over their 3-page ads in Shotgun News.

Latest purchase
Here’s my last purchase Outdoorsmen transitional. Most likely late 47 or early 48 stocks are from early 50’s

I picked up a used M&P9, which i posted about on the S&W pistol page. I also ordered a new mag for my 659 from Greg Cote. He was sold out of all but a MecGar, blued 15rd mag. I figured I'd better get it while I could.

Cruising a local honey hole when I found two sets of beautiful Hogue checkered grips for S&W sq butt K/L frame and 1006; the K/L frame grips are kingwood, the 1006 are pau ferro.
Not sure who priced them, but I am not complaining.

Kurusu, I've owned a few pf those really neat pistols. Love the action on 'em lady at the gun show today had a Broomhandle Mauser. After I opened the action for her she offered the gun to me for 100 dollars. I declined as it had some issues i.e.fairly poor bore and needed a detailed cleaning. I don't need another project. I did do ok at the show so far. Got 200 rounds of 223 for 60 bucks, a Lyman 450 Sizer with lube for 35 bucks and a new in box Pacific Super C press for 20 dollars...like I need it. Also got a couple thousand CCI SRPs for 20 dollars per. Made an offer on a S&W model 49. I may have to pay more...lol BTW fantastic plastics are selling well. Powder and primers are selling well as is hunting ammo.

I wouldn't be able to pass on that one. Even if it were a Chinese knock-off. I've always wanted one of those.

Same here, for 100 bucks I would’ve taken it even just as a display piece. Or was that $1000 and you made a typo?

Since it is a local buy I only need the Police aproval for the buy, it usually takes 2 to 3 weeks, but in these covid 19 times I'm not sure.

Do you really want to go that road?
How about all those nice P210 you have?
PS. It is not one too many. One is registered in my competition gun permit and the other one(the nice one) is registered in my collectors gun permit.

How about all those nice P210 you have?
PS. It is not one too many. One is registered in my competition gun permit and the other one(the nice one) is registered in my collectors gun permit.

My anniversary present
Walker's razor slim in multicam, with upgraded Walker's gel foam ear pieces, and oc tactical multicam sweat band.
I think I like them better than my howard leights.

Recent purchase lead me to the forum !
I missed my old 357 that I sold years ago. I purchased this last week. Now I’m reading the SCSW and joining the forum!
I’m a collector of other firearms so here I go learning again

Magnum Research Lone Eagle in 22 hornet. Got it to the range today and even with an extremely heavy trigger I really like it. Came with a 2 to 6 power scope.

No Typo..100 buckeroos. Today the lady came back and I am pretty certain she had some stripper clips for the gun. She also had a couple of Mosin Nagant rifles..well one was a short one with the triangular bayonet and the other was a longer rifle. She sold them in 15 minutes for 200 bucks each. Heck snooze ya lose...and I was snoozin'. Even I woulda bought one of them. BTW that broomhandle didn't look like either one Kurusu pictured. Nice looking pieces my friend!! Same gun much worse condition Yeah I know I shoulda bought it...but I quit gunsmithing 10 years ago. I did buy a Walther PPK in 22 today. Nice gun. Paid too much. I was also offfered..oh never mind..wait till I decide to buy.. But it was a nice Smith
