Yesterday me and a buddy stopped by the Reno Cabelas to look for gloves; he got gloves and I got a “ANIB” New Haven Winchester M70 Classic Featherweight in 6.5x55mm.

Bought a Glock 45 yesterday, I’m slowly becoming a Glock person. I’m not sure if I like that or not but, they just work.
Now have a 26 for carry, 29 for a woods gun and 45 for hd.

Well I did buy a S&W but not the one I was hinting at. From one of our esteemed members I bought a really nice 3 inch AS Model 60. And yes Bob...my wife went oooohhh! and glommed on to it. I wish the 25 had a shorter bbl. I woulda come home with even less cash! Every time I see you I come home with less money!! I still chuckle at the comment about that Underwood ammo, Now stay up in that mountain retreat and have a good winter.

Yesterday went into the local farm store. They had Armscor 9mm at 12.99 and Hornady 22 mag at 13.49...limit 2 each so I did it. After visiting Wally World a fellow called wanting to sell 500 once fired 223 brass and 350 9mm primed brass 4 cents each for all of it. ...so I did that deal too. Now I have more 223 to prep...oh boy hot diggety dog...LOL. I'll have to look...but I may have a 9mm cal conversion for the 550C. I don't normally load 9s. I sold the 650 conversion

I picked up a Springfield Armory 1911 Range Officer Champion in 9mm. Case, accessories, 2 9rd mags. Novak sights, fiber optic front sight.
A 1911 is kind of a change for me. It's going to be a learning curve but, hopefully, it'll be fun.

A model 642 with Crimson Trace from LGS. Some 22 ammo from a local guy. Some 308 remanufactured from Freedom Munitions and on back order for a couple weeks, a Galco Tuck-n-Go for the 642. Got a couple other things to get, but don't want anything in the pre Christmas package rush.

2 boxes of .30 .30 cartridges and some .44/ 240 grain lead flat point bullets, going to try to learn to reload- slowly buying the material and tools I need to get going.

I bought a 9mm round off gunbroker. They wanted way to much for the whole box.
Actually I did pick up a cool set of a Lok grips for my HP. Feel great. Medium texture and thinner than stock.

Wow, the used gun market has changed in the last year. On 12/22/19, I bought a Gen3 S&W Model 3953 TSW pre-rail (90+% finish) off the big auction site. IMO, it was a good deal.
Yesterday, 12/13/20, I watched four Gen3 S&Ws go for more than $600 at the big auction site, and they appeared to be the same quality as my purchase last year.
The Gen3s were... CS9 for $677; CS40 for $675; 6906 for $645; and a 3913 for $610.
Granted, these Gen3s went on a Sunday evening and each seller had a lot of pictures on their posting. Still, the sale prices are just... wow!

I made the mistake of visiting a local online trader forum the end of last week......so now I have 4 P99s......
Top - Original P99AS in 9 that started it all
Bottom - P99 Compact in 9
Left - 1998 First Generation P99 in 357 Sig (only 29 of those in the world)
Right - 2000 First Generation P99 in 40SW (newest addition)
That leaves a Smith & Wesson variant called the SW99 in 45ACP.....

My absolute last purchase before this posting was a 1930s Eubanks Leather latigo stitched full flap holster for my 1920s era 6" 1905 4th Change M&P. Both are below. The holster is pristine and was a grand total of $50. 
The M&P was slightly more expensive.

This one I have been hunting for awhile. Hungarian FEG Frommer STOP in 7.65 Browning. (.32 ACP) It has a long action. Pretty unique and not alot of them made. I believe this is from 1916.

Hit a couple gun shows, Oct,Nov,Dec, picked up a super clean Weatherby Mark xx11 semiauto 22lr a tube feed model. then a Kodiak 22 Mag semiauto 1963-1966 also sold as Coltteer and Jefferson looks unfired. Last weekend a very clean Ruger new model Blackhawk in 30 Carbine. Man am I happy we have some shows back, was a dry several months. Merry Christmas every one.

With the current ammo issues until who knows when, I picked up a couple of dry fire training aids in .45acp and 9 mil.
These Pink Rhino’s are one of a couple of options available in a laser training “round”, and I’ve found them to be quite useful. Not absolutely necessary but it pairs well with the various apps available that add to the experience.

Well, let’s see.......
Since 3 Nov, I’ve bought some reloading supplies - powder and bullets as I can find them (have lots already but more won’t hurt); reloading dies; some 10 round mags for M1 Carbine and BHP; wood grips for my Bersa 380 (it really is a decent pistol and the wood grips make it more so); and finally a Springfield Armory EMP4 CCC in 9mm. I’ve been wanting a 1911 style pistol in 9mm for a while. Got a good deal, couldn’t turn it down.

A Sig 226 and a Police Trade in Glock 26. Put night sights on the 26. Using the 226 as my truck gun. With my Mossy 500 12 gauge in the truck box. Why not?

After looking at some videos etc I decided to buy oneof the Lee APP tools. ordered it from Midway...They had in stock with free shipping. Told me delivery by 12/24. AND it made it yesterday. Been a bit busy so will open the package and check it out tomorrow. I just got a lot more 223 cases to process and got a bunch 55 gr FMJs. Loading some more 223s. I have a friend who loads my 9mm so I also got another 750 115 gr 9 mm FMJs

I have seen many people being saddened because their recently aquired "NAZI" Luger was... a Portuguese 1942/3 contract pistol(pistola M/943 in Portuguese Military Parlance). 
The short story is:
In 1942 Portugal contacted Mauser for a contract of around 5200 Parabellum pistols. Mauser replied that they could not honour that contract because those pistols were being phased out. Mauser had been ordered to produce the new P.38 pistol. After some "negotiation" it was agreed that the required number of Parabellum pistols would be "diverted" from Whermarcht delivery(they would instead receive the newly P.38 pistol from Mauser) and sent to Portugal. They were "normal" German P.08 pistols, the only "tell tale" sign was that they were byf 42 pistols with seriall numbers in beteween 200 and 5500 and in the "m" suffix letter.
Meet P.08 byf 42 # 1834 m.  Complete with Portuguese service holster(I already have one of those ) and tools.
Edit. Note. Those are not the original grip panels in the picture. I already have the originals. the original owner offered them to me a few years ago because he didn't care much for them and had bought the wooden ones pictured.

Very nice. Saw an American Eagle 9mm with an artillery-length barrel the other day. The guy simply wanted a value estimate. I couldn't talk him into selling it to me.

I got rid of all my AR15 rifles and ammo,and put the money into a pinned and recessed 8 3/8 629. Dont know what I`ll do with it- get it out to look at once in a while

Yesterday I sold a whole bunch of reloading stuff and factory ammo to a fellow and partial payment for it all was a really nice Marlin pre safety 444 rifle. Even has a nice receiver sight. I didn't sell any 444 ammo though. Really pretty gun that looks new.

Nothing major. I've been wanting to carry my 1911, but I wanted a better holster than the cheap Uncle Mike's nylon IWB I have. I want to get a Kramer IWB#3, but between not having enough money for one right now and the est. 3-month wait when I do, I got an inexpensive kydex IWB holster from Concealment Express as a temporary option 'til I can get the Kramer. So far it's been satisfactory.
Also got a mag pouch from Bladetech, though I did order a nice leather mag pouch from TT Gunleather.

I found a Ruger Old Army on GB at a price I could live with. It will arrive tomorrow.
Since winning that, I have ordered .457 round balls, conical bullets, grips, new 30-35-40 grain spouts for my flask, 3/16 nipple wrench, and new nipples. In other words, buying the gun is just the beginning, it is the accessories that send you to the poor house.
Here it is with the new grips, I already had the holster, left over from a 7.5" Blackhawk that I sold some time ago:

Last night at about closing time I spotted a delivery truck at my local Sportsman’s Warehouse, so today I was there when the doors opened. I scored:
1 brick Federal Small Pistol Magnum primers (1 of 4 delivered)
2 50 rd boxes of Tula 9mm
8 20 rd boxes .300 BO

Updated with pics
There are a lot of people around the area who know I buy small to large lots of shooting stuff, so today I got a call. Went to look at what they had and I got lots of what I call littles 10 boxes of Buckshot a couple of Ruger mags...a 2nd set of Checkered walnut Ruger grip panels(hoping they would fit my Ruger Mark I)a few hundred primers a couple pounds of CFE 223 powder and a few other things including a few rounds of 223 9mm 38 357 41 mag 45 auto and 45 Colt factory ammo for a VERY good price. all said and done I think I did good...and the grip panels for the Ruger fit my gun. The first ones I got didn't quite fit Pics later. momma has to get on a zoom meeting. Got the pics loaded(I think) and the Ruger is an after changing the grip panels. It had a scope mount with a red dot type sight on it. And I got something else I didn't even know was made...a Hornady case annealing kit with the tempilaq. Learn something new every day
