1500 55 gr FMJ Berry's bullets. I hit the Cabela's site last week and ordered them...they were in stock and I got them. I figured they would be backordered. I know they aren't Hornady's or Winchester but I have loaded a few and they seem to shoot fine. I also got some H335 locally. just a pound but more than I had. Started prepping brass today.

Bought a new Winchester 1892 carbine in 45LC yesterday. I shot it today and I’m very pleased.
The only negative is reassembly after taking it down to clean it. Wow! I’m sure I’ll get better at it eventually.

And the Nagant revolver is also home.
Edit. Made in 1940. Means it's still "peacetime" production. Germany invaded the U.S.S.R. in June 1941.

I bought your gun's twin brother back in 2019. My gun came out of the same arsenal the same year. Mine got captured by the Finns and somehow made its way to the USA.

About all I can afford these days is stocks. These are from Germany. I received them by international shipping in 2 or 3 days. Seller is meak-7474. Has semi auto offerings too. K square butt stocks on my 17-2. Love the fit and quality. I am not affiliated with the seller. Just like nice stuff! Bob

Bought a very nice Caldwell shooting table. Actually 3 of them. The first one was lost in space, never arrived. it was cancelled and I reordered but that one was shipped [I tracked it to a loading dock in Niagara Falls- I’m in NC] turned out to be an Amazon center in New York. I think Amazon thought it was the missing unit??? Talked to a nice cust svc gal who cancelled #2 and I reordered a 3rd time. This bench made it. A very nice shooting bench. I see where they can run as much as 800.00, I only paid 370.00 plus ship.

Late 70's Model 60.
No pics because it's at my FFL waiting for the proceed. Yes, our gun laws suck here in WA. For pistols here, you have to actually go to your FFL twice. Once to fill out paperwork and then after your local LE agency clears you.

No, not Marjatta. This is the one called Aili (Ps.531-8) it's in Hamina. I was there in 2011 for the European M.L.A.I.C Championship.
Edit. It's on the Southeast close to the Russian border.

OK, I know Hamina,
I have studied there in Army Academy.
Lot of World's Sturm is in Finland, because we used it long time after WW2, and now them is in museums.
You see swastika, it's not nazi swastika. It's old Finnish amoured force insignia. Svastika used in Finland first time in military use 1918 in our Air Force's first airplane.
In Finland swastika have used from Iron Age.

I know the Finnish Swastika pre dates the abuse Hitler made of an ages old Solar symbol all over the World
The Museum belongs, I think, to the Reserve Officer Academy. Is that the one you attended?

Just picked up 400 new Remington 45 AR cases at a fair price. Doubt I’ll never need to buy anymore. I am eyeballing a “like new” Winchester 94 Big Bore in 375 Win. I haven’t seen loaded ammo and components for quite a while. Regret selling my Big Bore in 356 Win.

Two weeks ago picked up another Glock 17 Gen 5 blue label. Gun show that weekend picked up another 66 ND 2 1/2 inch. Two days ago picked up a 66-2 four inch and a 686-4 four inch from same seller. He also threw in 750 rounds of ammo and about 15 holsters. Great bargain I could not pass up.

Wow 25 cents each.. I think I am moderately well to do now. Just had a fellow ask me for some new 45 autos. Sold him a thousand for 25 cents each also. Is brass this hard to get??.
That said...buy the Big Bore unless the price is too high. They ain't getting any cheaper. 356 Win...have two boxes of it set aside in case I ever see one for sale

All brass is currently hard to find, including .45 auto rim; I never see it around here when times are good. These days 25 cents isn’t too bad, especially since I didn't have to pay for shipping.

Rock Island Armory 52009, a 1911a2 double stack 5" 10mm. Still waiting on Washington's recently enacted local background check, up to 10 days. I assume for ERPO/"Red Flag" status. All black, with G10 grips, fiber front sight, and adj rear sight.
I plan on a .357 SIG barrel before too long. .357 SIG, .40S&W, and 10mm all feed from the same magazine.
Just before this was a Ruger Mark II blued Government contract Target model. 6 7/8 bull barrel. Tighter close to match chamber, roller burnished.

Brauer Bros. holster from EBay for my SP101. Perfect for the woods and rides just high enough for carry under a light jacket or untucked shirt.

I picked up this Ruger American Predator .308 Win last weekend.
I installed the Vortex 6.5 X 20 for accuracy testing. 12X setting used for range visit. I'll likely install a much smaller 1" tube in Talley lightweight mounts down the road.
I used a modified Wilson 13# J Frame trigger return spring to get the trigger breaking consistently at just under 2lbs. I have the adjustment screw at about mid, so I can go up or down as desired.
I put together some loads consisting in Winchester brass, CCI primers, 45.5 grains of Varget and 165 grain Speer BTSP @ 2.795" to accommodate the rather short box magazine.
No previous experience (dope) with this load, just pulled it from the air. It shows real potential though. The target below was shot from an Uncle Buds sand bag after a few break-in shoot and clean rounds during a cold windy range visit Friday afternoon.
This is my first experience with this utility grade offering from Ruger and it has so far out shot any 77 that I recall owning. I hope the newer 77's shoot this well.

I stopped at Cabelas a couple week ago just look around. Very few handguns and the library was closed. I was going to the grocery store today 1 block away and decided to try again. Library was open but no desirable guns there.
I went to ammo aisle and noticed 1 guy carrying 10 single boxes to checkout counter. I asked what he was buying and it was Winchester M855 556 value packs The price was $ 79.95 for 150 rounds. I started to walk away and then decided to buy a couple of boxes. I paid for them and went to my car.
I decided to buy more and picked up the last 5 boxes He asked if I was a member of their club. I asked if their club included a Visa credit card. I replied that I had too many credit cards. Without their card they would only allow me to purchase a total of 5 boxes. I did so and left.
I pay my credit cards off every month to avoid charges. I thought about returning what I had bought as a matter of principle. But I asked myself when was the last time I had seen 556. So I was happy to get the 5 boxes at 60 cents a round.
One of the guys in the ammo aisle said Cabelas ha 9 mm in the morning. But there were 75 people in line so he left

Today’s find at a pawn shop.
Just never know where you’ll find reloading components these days. They had Winchester LRP/LRMP @ $30 per 100 - passed. The .38 and .45 cast bullets were reasonably priced so I went home a little heavier.

Was up late at night sick a few weeks back and decided quality TV was needed so I watched the Wild Bunch.
Shortly thereafter this bit of leather arrived in the mail box...

Picked up 2 lb of VV Tin Star and 3 jars of Birchwood Caseys Red Walnut stain from midway Friday. Really like the red stain for my milsurp rebuilds and I use the VV and 193 gr lead in my ‘03 Springfield and .30-40 Krag rifles.

Bought a New England Arms Pardner, 410 Ga. (to go with the 12 Ga.). The stock is off of a "Survivor" version. Not too crazy about it so I'll be looking for a wood stock & forend set.

Got a new old stock Savage M-10 "Trophy". New in the box with the Nikon 3-9 scope and mounts. Nice wood stocked rifle(not plastic) and it has the Accutrigger. Oh caliber is 223. I may actually keep this one

Misplaced a 3rd Gen. Colt SAA in .44 Spl. with 5 1/2" barrel and Sambar Stag stocks. This is the gun I can't find.
For consolation, I bought a 3rd Gen. Colt SAA in .45 Colt with a 4 3/4" barrel, and a USFA SAA in .44 Spl. with a 4 3/4" barrel.

Yesterday, since it's after midnight, I bought a used Taurus PT-22 at my LGS priced at $199.95. Got a spare magazine and a non-origin case included.
