I have purchased eleven pistols in the past 11 months, which is approximately one per month, if my math is correct.
Instead of posting once per month here in this topic thread for the past 11 months, here they are, all at once:
1. S&W PC 460 XVR 10.5" July 24, 2017. 84.2 oz. Satin SS, sku 170262. I walked in to my towns' friendliest brick and mortar gun shop, viewed all they had, and this item I had to have.
2. S&W 500 6.5" July 28, 2017. 60.7 oz sku 163565. Satin SS. Less visually obtrusive muzzle break vent holes than other X frame items. This arrived at the brick and mortar dealer two days after I ordered it.
3. Kimber Micro Nine SS. Aug. 7, 2017. 3.15" 15.6 oz. Because 9mm cartridge is small, I think guns chambered for it should be small, too. #3300158 Purchased one day after ultra short range charged by neighbors German Shepherd.
4. Dan Wesson PM-7 45. Aug. 11, 2017. All brushed SS, 5" 40.2 oz. I dropped .460 Rowland into it, so now it shoots a very efficient cartridge of almost identical external dimensions than the original, but with full efficient loading. sku 1900.
5. Dan Wesson 10mm Razorback. Sept 11, 2017. All brushed SS, 5" 40.1 oz. Great looks with minimal visual distractions, fully efficient cartridge of proper size and oomph, too. This item was not orderable anywhere, except for one brick and mortar dealer in town, it arrived 36 hours after I ordered it.
6. S&W M&P Shield 1.0 .40 S&W. No thumb safety. Oct 16, 2017. 3.1" 20.6 oz. sku 180020. Blackened SS and polymer. Small gun chambered for efficient cartridge of medium oomph. My second purchase for attack dog ambush charge defense.
7. Glock 29 gen 4 10mm Nov. 3, 2017. 3.77" 26.83 oz. Carbon and polymer. Extremely efficient cartridge that has enough size to yield enough oomph, but not to much that will batter a medium size/weight gun. I carry it with 15 round magazine.
8. Colt 3" SS .45 Defender. Jan. 3, 2018. 3.77", 24 oz. Purchased because this item is both moderately carryable and moderately visually appealing and moderately powerful.
9. Glock 27 gen 4. 40 S&W. March 7, 2018. 3.77". 26.83 oz. Efficient cartridge of moderate power. More comfortable carry than G29, but with less oomph than 10mm. I carry it with 13 round magazine.
10. Desert Eagle 50 AE SS No muzzle break. May 9, 2018. 6", 69.8 oz. I have been wanting an SS Desert Eagle. Perfect example of much better visual appeal in brushed stainless, than in flat black.
---------------------------------
11. Dan Wsson Pointman carry 45 PM-C. All SS brushed. 4.25", 36.7 oz, sku 01843. Cream puff eye candy.
Ordered and paid for Friday, May 25, 2018. Eta less than one week from there.

A used Glock 26 that a friend of one of my sons sold for $400 with four mags. It will be my oldest son's new carry gun and part of the graduation gifts. He will get the Korth Combat when he has a better safe.

22 rimfire ammo. It is cheap and plentiful right now. You could hardly find any in the not too distant past. What you could find was expensive.

I recently picket up a 1873 trap door Springfield, a couple Remington, 600s one a 6mm and another a 350 Remington Mag. Today I send the funds for the 600s pistol version 221 Remington Fireball. The 600, 660 and Fireball actions are actually a short model 700 action and great guns. Originally the 600 and 660s where an Remington economy short barreled carbine model. I now have 2 6mms, a308 and the350mag. I regret that years ago I traded off one in 222. A lot of deer and a few elk gone to the freezer with the 308. I got the 6mms for the wife and stepdaughters to hunt with. I got the 350 because, well I could, I could shoot my cast 357 bullets in it with gas checks, its a handy dandy short barreled heavy hitter, all just a bunch of excuses to get it.

Here's mine. Just got this at a local auction. 1902 mfg.Winchester '94 in Winchester 32-40 cal. Softest shooting large caliber rifle I've ever handled. Got it reasonable since it had been re-blued, but it sure it pretty. Wish I had a picture of the box of ammo too. Found this old box of John Wayne signature stuff. Sweet . . .

Just won on a GB auction a New Old Stock Ciener 22 conversion kit for a 1911 for $121.00. I've had one of these in the past and it ran fine and shot pretty much point of aim so we'll see how this one works.

I'm not sure if I'm following a stereotypical pattern. Since the end of 2017, I've been evaluating my firearms collection. I started to sell off those I didn't shoot often. With the proceeds I would go and buy something good. Quality over quantity.
After the first evaluation and culling, I ended up with a S&W Model 629 5" will a full under lug and cash in my pocket. A month ago the second evaluation and culling. I ended up with parts to complete my Spikes Tactical unicorn build and a grand in store credit. Sat on the credit a while, until today.
Kriss Vector SDP, 9mm, braced. This is my last and final purchase this year. There's nothing out there that really interests me. I have 2 or 3 more pistols for culling, but since there's nothing I really want I'm in no hurry.

A gun shop/ range changed hands near me. They were selling off old stock that came from who knows where.
So, I saw a holster box on the table. Hunter Holsters. Box says they are "Engineered for Action" It is style 1100, size10. They still have on their site. They are $75.00 now. Box states handmade. The original price was written in on the box end. $4.10. Think it is old? Company started in 1952. It is for K frame, 6" among a few others. I don't use holsters, but the "COOL" factor was there. So I took it home. Don't think it was ever used. Bob

Yesterday, I bought a Browning "Double Twelve" shotgun, 12 gauge.
This was made in the late 1950's.
Beautiful shape.
I will sell it after I go shoot it.
Also bought a Savage 116 stainless rifle with 3-9 scope,7mm magnum
Excellent superb condition. I will sell it.

Got this guy today
I also got five magazines with no baseplates, and five +2 extensions that I have to keep with a non-CZ owning buddy to keep my mags CO ok. If any of you P10C users want to swap your baseplates for my +2s hit me up, I didn't know CZ didn't offer the normal baseplates and I really don't want to have to block the extensions to hold 15.

I just picked up a P320 because I had a TLR1-HD in the safe that needed a rail. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking by it.

Latest was an impulse buy on GB. Looked at some low-tier 1911's, a couple seemed reasonably priced. Picked up a High Standard GI-style for under $300. Looks clean enough; I figure it will keep my Tisas company

Very early Ruger Redhawk. One of the first ones released in 1980, with original box and shipper. With some minor production differences to the rest of the production.

This is an old model 357 John Gallagher converted to 44 Special with a Bowen rear sight and locking basepin and the black powder chamfer on the cylinder. I added the ivories and the Clements bisley hammer.

My haul for the week.
The PX has a Father’s Day sale going on coupled with no sales tax. So I just couldn’t help myself... It’s a sickness...and I’ve got it pretty bad. ;-)

Traded for a Ruger # 1 in 22-250 yesterday and today traded for an absolutely beautiful C. Sharps 1874 Sharps in 45/70. Last week at the same LGS I also picked up a nice 28-2 with a 4 inch barrel. Been a good couple of weeks here!

I picked up a 2214 today - son (or maybe grandson?) to my 61-3 Escort.
Haven't got any pictures yet.
No box or goodies and only one magazine, but it is in near perfect condition...

The latest addition.
Wanted one since the Magpul announcement where they pictured this rifle (quicksand/FDE combo). Am I crazy for buying a $900 10/22? Maybe.
SilencerCo can is probably next...rifle begs for it!

Finally a member of the 1911 owners club. Picked up my Remington R1 Carry 5" .45 yesterday from the LGS, after ordering online thru Bud's Gun Shop. Was hoping to get to the range tonight after work, but now hoping for a session tomorrow after work.
Stock image inserted for now

Rock Island 1911 Ultra FS in 9x19. At $321.95 ($205 in coupons and rewards points) it was too good a deal to pass up.

Picked this up today.
Also so far this year I’ve acquired 2 Mossberg Shockwaves, a Midland Backpacker and an M&P22 compact. I think I need to shoot more and buy less for a while
