The latest is a twofer - A well used S&W model 57-1 and "Super Rosewood" grips from Altamont with bronze medallions.

The red dot went kaput on my primary target .22 pistol, and the match season starts this week. So I stopped at a gun shop on the way home from the range and bought a Sig Sauer MSR optical sight with a green dot. I went to the indoor range yesterday to sight in and it seems to work pretty well.

Ruger Mark IV tactical, and immediately removed the cheesey graters. May send it out for new trigger, as no longer have the 10-20 years left to break in the trigger.

This past week was killer, my wallet is still screaming.
1st, I bought a Mosin-Nagant M44 that was on the rack at my LGS. I saw it as I was doing transfer paperwork on receiving two SA EMP4 pistols I bought the previous week in a private out-of-state deal. Then, a couple of days later, I bought a S&W M41 from the same dealer. So, four firearms in about a week and a half.

NOS Jay Scott Oversized Trooper grips for my 27-3 for $25 at an antique shop. They fit my hands far better than the 2x4 stock targets and they still look pretty good, but they waggle a little bit (rocking front to back -- they were cut/reshaped a little oversize for my gun's frame) so I need to grab some epoxy putty or wood filler today to get them where I need them to be.

Wanted to find something a little different. Always admired the looks of the Kimber K6. So, after the Target Model came out I started looking for 1. Videos and reviews were good. Never owned a Kimber but have shot some. Actually found 1 at a decent price, and in stock. Free shpping too. Have not fired it yet! Bob

I have been looking for a 1911 based 10mm.
This is my first ever Kimber. Found at a somewhat local shop that beat online pricing by a nice chunk.
No shipping or transfer fee, along with a lower price, made it a BIN.
Kimber Stainless II.
Only one mag so the search begins.

Last week I picked up a Colt Gunsite Lightweight Commander. The week before I grabbed a LNIB S&W 442 Pro. Didn’t plan on buying either, but the opportunities presented themselves and were too good to pass up.

A new model Auto Mag dubbed "The Raven" for obvious reasons. This model features a matte black DLC coating with stainless accents.
Flat black coatings on handguns is not my favorite look but this one is kinda growing on me.
The group shot are all Auto Mags and extra barrels produced by the New Auto Mag Company.

Picked up a 2 3/4 inch blue Security Six last Saturday. Been looking for a Speed or Service Six for some time. Passed on a 5926 (thread elsewhere) but purchased a LN 10-22 stainless take down with pouch and box.

Taller rear sight blade for my GP100 44spl. Solves the hassle of having to turn the sight up 2-3 clicks to shoot "cowboy" style ammo, compared to the hotter near-Keith SWC loads I make. Now the stock rear is three clicks taller, and it takes only one click down to be correct for the Keiths. Also nice that it is all black, instead of the white outline. Easier to pick up the front sight and center it with my "fixed" fixed-focus eyes.

Picked up a couple Havana Galco Concealables; one for my 1076/P220 and the other for my J frames. I already have those holsters in Black and Tan, but a fool and his money in a gun store…

Yesterday...Yard sale...4 lbs powder 4350 4831 Rl 19 Rl 26 2000 LR primers Almost 3500 High end bullets(Nosler Barnes Lapua etc etc.) RCBS RC press(25 bucks like new) new Forster CoAx press RCBS powder measure & Bench mount primer seater FA case cleaner(wet variety) 5 sets dies(2 benchrest) Couple Crow WFTs and a bunch of littles. Guy also offered me a barely used Labradar chrono. Didn't know the price of the darn things so I left it. He still has it. May go buy it if I can get it for the right price. He needs some powder(Universal Clays) and shotshell primers so will take that to him. Also got a like new Nikon Digital camera with extra lenses etc for more than I wanted to spend...but my wife wanted it...We do have to indulge our better? half ya know! No cards but I have a few and they are cheap. Anyone give me an idea on the Labradar??

Two extra factory 12 round magazines for my Smith and Wesson CSX. I never cared for the 10 round mag, it leaves my pinkey hanging in the air. The 12 rounders give me a good grip plus the two extra rounds.
Got them from Midway. They weren't cheap, but no more expensive than the ones for my other S&W's have been.

Catching up a couple of recent acquisitions...
First, a Ruger Charger .22. Waited a few months for this to come in... added a Sig brace and PA red dot. Nice and quiet with my Mask HD. Perfect little backpack/camping gun.
I'd also been looking for a quality, but not Swaro priced spotting scope. I've been very happy with the Athlon riflescope on my 6.5CM rifle, so I bought an Athlon Ares UHD G2 20-65x85 spotter.
Definitely not Swaro glass, but at 1/8th the price, more than good enough for my purposes. I played with a 'digiscoping' adapter today, for the first time. Not easy to get good pics through this with a cell phone. I'll probably order up an adapter for our Nikon, I think that will give much better results.

Hyve grip extension for my Ruger LCP Max and three J frame round butt Tyler T-grips. I was able to trade two of the T-grips for three sets of J frame magnas and one set of elk stag K frame RB grips. Now to find a K frame round butt revolver!

I bought & outfitted an unfired "used" 8" Grand Power Stribog SP9A1 that came with an SB folding arm brace & 3 mags, a fitted hard case & lock, & the regular pistol backplate. I added a low-mounted SigSauer Romeo5 red dot & a single-point sling. I also received 3 of the new curved 30-round mags that just work flawlessly.
Sent with some arcane communications device.

I've got a Girsan MCP35 in the lung ripping 9mm on order. Just waiting for a call to come get it.
Now I'm debating ordering a Bersa 22 that my wife wants to go along with it.

Well at last weeks gun show in Riverton... I bought lots of little stuff...but one buy was truly a good one. I bought a RCBS Lube-a-matic bullet luber/sizer...in the original box. Box was rough but I figured it was complete and there were 2 sizing dies and nose punches(new). Hey for 40 bucks ya can't go wrong...right?? I took a real look at it today and to my surprise the whole darn thing was new...never out of the box. Heck even a blind skwerl finds an acorn every now and then. I also bought another RCBS item. ...a precisioneered Accessory Kit...all new in the box. Has a powder measure stand auto primer feed and a bunch of other stuff. Paid 15 dollars so I think I did OK. The fellow also had a RCBS Jr Press that I did not buy. A friend bought it and he told me it was also new in the trashy box. I also got a nice 629 6 inch revolver pinned/recessed. Very nice condition....not real keen on SS though...so it may have to go

Pawnshop finds in the last month...
1944 Standard Products M1 Carbine, 100% GI and in great condition,

It looks like the M1 Carbine still has the push button safety? That's kind of different since it has all the other late/post war modifications (bayo lug, adj rear sight, 4 hole handguard). Does it have the mag release that accepts 30rd mags?
Either way, very nice. Especially one made by one of the rarer manufacturers.
May I ask what you got it for?
And very nice deal on the SIG, congrats.

GLOCK 24 P, in 40 S&W for me. The rarest ported/compensated model made. S&W has been dead to me since they stopped the 3rd Generation. Just a complete disaster imho.

With the NRA in Houston and picking up the following goodies, it was a busy week. I picked up a clean 3913 from a friend, spare mags and some grips for my 3” Python.
Eagle cocobolo service stocks and Hogue Tulipwood monogrip. Also picked up 3 more 3913 mags.
