Picked up a 3rd P365... a P365X to finish out the set. Yes, I really like these little Sigs...
The X will be getting a Holosun 507K to match the XL.

Not only did I score a killer deal on a 1978 Dan Wesson Pistol Pack that I mentioned in another thread, I also scored a decent deal on a Walther P5, one of my alltime favorite pistols.

I just bought an MP5 barrel. That is Step One in a future firearm. Next I need to acquire a Heckler & Koch HK94 carbine. I plan to replace the 16 inch barrel of the HK94 with the MP5 barrel and have it registered as a SBR. Because the MP5 barrel has the three lugs, The final Step is acquiring the silencer that slips over the muzzle and locks onto the barrel lugs. Naturally, I would prefer a full auto MP5, but a silenced semi-auto MP5 isn't bad either.

Bought this today:
Colt Single Action Army Revolver in .38 W.C.F. (C16913)
Received the information on the Colt. It is all correct and was shipped to Simmons Hardware, St. Louis, MO in Sept. 1928.

Just got the last of my parts Tuesday to finish up my little 7 1/2" AR pistol.
Upper and lower are both PSA. Just need a set of Magpul back up sights for it to be complete.

Don't you just hate it when you lose stuff?
I had some old (I probably loaded it 10 or more years ago) .44 mag ammo for which I lost my notes... and it doesn't shoot worth a darn in my current M29s. I think it's the bullets, some cheap plated 240 grain stuff I bought years ago. I decided to pull the bullets and reload them with something else.
But I couldn't find my trusty old RCBS puller... so I bought a new one from Lyman. It works just as expected...

Something I have wanted for years
Last night I bought a Dead Air Sandman S suppressor. My son and I filed as a Trust, so we both can use it. Hopefully we can take it home by this time next year.

NIB Ruger MK IV complete upper with 5.5” bull barrel, $25 from Volquartzen. They remove them for their own custom builds. A steal in my opinion.

Well for some odd reason I bought another Dillon 550B set up for 223 with a few extras(strongmount bullet tray and from another table an aluminum roller handle...10 bucks) at the gunshow this weekend. But...the price was right as they say!. I almost bought a Super 1050...but the sellers bottom line(1400) and my top were 100 bucks apart...thankfully I think. I don't shoot that much 223

I've been browsing Armslist for local pistol sales and came across a "like new" SCCY CPX2 and the owner said he ran 1 magazine of ball 9mm through it and didn't like so he was selling it... at ˝ of what he paid for it. Got it home and looked it over, broke it down and found out why he didn't like shooting it. It was still covered with oil from the manufacturer, he had never cleaned it before shooting it. I did a thorough cleaning and took it to shoot it and put several different brands and types of ammo through it and was amazed at well it shot. I've heard mixed reviews on this pistol but I think it will be a good backup or truck gun.

Just put a 'Weig-A-Tinny' mount on my SRH .44 Mag. I like it better with the AT3 Tactical red dot than how I had it with the Ultra Dot on the Ruger rings. And it shaves a little weight off an already heavy handgun.

After

While traveling during Thanksgiving I bought a Seecamp LWS32. It should be at my FFL as we speak. I will go to our county seat with paperwork and get it put on my permit, then I can possess it.

Got my new 20 inch upper in Friday. SS fluted barrel with a 223 Wylde chamber. It is super nice! It has a 15" hand guard on it. Really nice one for only $270.00. It had a 10% off special offer

Got an Ithaca Western Arms "Long Range" in .410 along with a nice 06 Winchester .22 pump on Monday from an old friend out of her brothers estate. He was an old running mate of mine in our young and wild days. She is cleaning up his affairs and hoping to get on with her own life soon. I paid her reasonable current value for them which I was fine with. He passed as a result of Covid and will be much missed by many of us. The firearms came from their Grandfather who ran a sporting goods somewhere in NJ long ago. Neither is pristine, but both appear to be fully functional and will be put to the test. The 410 is marked 2 and 4 so full and modified on chokes. A few scars from honest use, but a great score for me to remember my old pal and his little sister...
And they came with a small stash of over 750 .22LR!

I have over 100,000 rounds through it and it still shoots like the day it was born. A 1 hole'r over bags, I can't do it any longer, because of my eyes, but I still get my share of 10's and X's, mostly 10's!
I found someone to custom make me a mount that holds onto the vented rib and requires no threading or tapping.
The other is a safe queen and in the "Gold Wire" Edition! So gorgeous!
Yours is a looker too. A classic firearm that will never be again!

Last weekend I got a deal on a very lightly used Sig 365 XL. Came with the box, papers, 2 12rd mags. $449 + tax/background check. Fits my hand better than the Shield Plus I had, sold that so the difference was only for the price of a 3rd mag I bought today.
Great shooter and easy to carry.

In a gun store today, I found what seems to be the rarest of the rare in these parts, a DeSantis Thumb Break Scabbard (Right) for the Colt Agent, Detective Special; Charter Arms Bulldog; Ruger SP-101, all with 2" barrels. It is a perfect fit for my new Taurus 856 which is just a skosh too big for my collection of J-frame holsters. I know I could have ordered one, but I had this one in my hands TODAY! There's something to be said for instant gratification.

At last weekend's gun show I bought a few handguns...all revolvers and one shotgun. The shotgun was a cute little RIA 410 single shot . Going in a corner for an around the house snake and woodpecker gun. The revolvers were one of the new Ruger Wrangler? mainly cause I didn't have a single action 22 revolver. Got a Ruger Blackhawk in 45 Colt. Other than the price I don't know why I bought it. Then I got a Ruger Vaquero..the larger frame in 44 mag... also pretty cheap at 300 bucks. I also got a S&W pre 18 22 CM. the second one I have and it is only about 400 digits from my other one. I also found 2 pounds of Win 296 a pound of 231 and a pound of Unique all four pounds for 40 bucks... they were all older cans but heck. The metal can of 296 is going to a friend who enjoys 44 mag recoil. Duh! Really good buy was a fellow brought me in a 1000 Fed SPM primers for 40 bucks

Today I bought a couple smaller items. First I got a 10 pack of Eley Tenex 22 LR ammo. Got it for 60 bucks...12 cents per. Bought some CCI SV the other day to try it out in my M-41s and it cost 10 cents per. We'll see how the Tenex shoots in them too. 2nd item was a HDS hand press. new in the box papers and parts. 40 bucks. I don't think they make 'em anymore. Also made an offer on a fully loaded Dillon 650. Like I need it but it seems to be unused. Guy even has a new set of 50 BMG Hornady dies bullets cases primers etc. But I sold my Barrett. He also has a like new w/box Redding T-7 Turret Press for 300 bucks. I am tempted

Receipt? this was an estate sale why I made an offer on the 650! I surely don't need the 650 but it had everything so I had to try for it.. I can post a pic though. I don't even know what 500 rounds of Tenex sells for these days...but would say considerably more than I paid. They had some other Eley ammo there too...but don't remember the name. I did shoot the Ruger Wrangler I got Saturday at the gun show. All rounds went bang.(TBolts) Nice little gun for 180 bucks. I didn't have a single action 22. Too cold windy snowy to stay out long, though. Brrr

Great shooter and easy to carry.

Just picked up this nice 375 H&H Tropical Ruger Mo.1. I dropped it off at my smith last Saturday to have a new brown NECG Universal recoil installed; that'll add an inch to the LOP and a little more recoil absorption.
Best regards,

That's a beaut! Do you know if that is original or a re-stock?
Don't know why you think you'll need a recoil suppressor on it!
Enjoy! The perfect Squirrel gun.

I bought a 1974 S&W Model 12-2 snub this morning at an auction. Paid a little more than I wanted, but I wanted a 1974 S&W. I had hoped to pick up a Colt Cobra also, but it went for over a grand. The 12-2 was probably my last purchase of the year, unless my SA-35 turns up before New Years.

I just acquired a Browning Challenger pistol, made in 1969. It has a 4 1/2 inc barrel. I previously acquired a Browning Challenger with a 6.5 inch barrel. Now I have both. They make me happy.

Pair of Colt SAA in 45 Colt with 45 ACP cylinders. Sold to a friend
about 10 years ago and immediately regretted it. He added custom
grips from Texas Grips. Brought them back home yesterday! Good on me!

A close family friend moved to Florida and got ahold of me about wanting to get rid of two .22s... so I rehomed a winchester 190 and a remington mohawk 10c, both in decent shape and definitely a fair price... had been itching for a semi auto 22 for a bit now anyway...
