I never make those kinds of promises - I don't lie to myself
I did tell myself I had all the guns I needed and pretty much all I wanted.
Still didn't make it through January without buying 4 more

I just bought a Ruger LCP 2 in 22LR with 4 spare magazines very lightly used for $325 probably not the deal of the century, but I, and the seller were happy.

I'm only looking for old Smiths. In 2019, got my grail gun, a pre 10 1950 .38, shipped exactly a month before I was born. Last year got a 1947 .22 Target. Always looking for old good Smiths.

I'm on a pre-war bender. My latest is a Colt Official Police from 1940 and just before that I scored a beautiful Model 1917 from, oddly enough...1917.

Finally picked up a Maverick 88 12 Ga for a good price. Not like I needed it but I can’t turn down a quality pump gun at a steal.

I picked up a spare magazine for my Walther PPK at the Gettysburg Gun show. I figure you can never have too many spare magazines. Seller turned out to be a coin guy and was very happy when I gave him 5 Golden Dollars as part of the purchase price.

The prewar ones can sure be expensive! Later ones, not so bad.

A Taurus 5 shot .357 snubby and a, gulp, Remington R51. Friend needed some money so I helped them out. The Taurus should be okay. Have seen many mixed reviews on the R51 so will wait and see how much the "helping out" really cost me.

LOL, I just did the BGC paperwork on a R51 LNIB with 4 mags today! I've been intrigued by their design and for $275 OTD I figured it was worth a gamble.

A 67 no dash with the early stainless sights had been held by a local shop for me for some time - figured it was time to give it a home so i drosd it this weekend…along with a little old Stevens 94 .410. Also found a Browning Double Auto at another shop while traveling and am waiting for it to get to my ffl…
After these I’m done for a couple months as I agreed with the wife…we’ve spent too much and have trips to Oahu and Nashville next month…and the dealer says our Bronco (full size) should be produced and delivered around March/April….
And I swear, every time I go on a hiatus all the good stuff comes out…

I picked up my second 88 last year but in FDE. I've had my first one for over 25 years and it's been super reliable and a blast to shoot. Enjoy yours!

Nice one! As I said in my previous post, they are great reliable low cost shotguns. I'll take a Mossberg 88 any day over all of these Turkish ones flooding the market that are now on sale at HUGE discounts or liquidation on many sites. Blast away!

Picked up a threaded barrel for my P365X. Should be fun with the Obsidian in the 'K' configuration, although not as quiet as it would be at full length.
To give an idea of over size, here it is with my 19-3...

Picked up a 4-1/2" barrel for my early High Standard Supermatic on an eBay auction for a good price. It is in really nice condition so goes well with the rest of the package.
Also 4 boxes of 25-06 ammo which has been in short supply lately.

I got a new Blackhawk 45 Convertible last fall. I had a Bisley which fit my hand great. Of course I sold it to get money for something else. Picked up the Blackhawk, and it just did not feel right in my hand. Worse when firing. So, I looked for oversize Herrett Stocks for it. Found 2 sets for it. I am a big fan of their stocks. I have 8-10 sets in all for S&W. Bob

Whats your latest purchase? "guns/accessories"
Recently picked up a new Shield Plus 9mm Performance Center, 4” barrel with fiber sights and included CT red dot. The red dot is ok but can’t leave it on till I find a holster to fit the whole package. So far loving this gun with the extra capacity, longer barrel and it’s lighter than my usual EDC, the Shield 45.

So far this year I've bought
Remington R51 & RM380
Beretta 21a Tomcat & 3032 Bobcat
S&W CS45 & an M&P Victory
Ruger MkI
Seven guns in six weeks.
I've got to slow down before I go broke!

Got the Barebones Japanese Nata Tool in the mail yesterday. The 2" Taurus 856 I bought back in December '21 after I gave a bunch of guns & knives to my kids and grandkids when my wife passed. The 856 has a Galloway Precision spring kit, Ameriglo front night sight, & Hogue Monogrip.
Added a clearer picture of the 856 and my Buck'n'Bear 256 layer Damascus Mini Hunter.

I'm giving my son-in-law my 12 gauge Remington 870 Express Combo (20" Cylinder Bore w/rifle sights &, IIRC, 28" vent rib with choke tubes), so I needed an inexpensive riot gun. I had a Mossberg 500 years ago that kicked like hell with slugs. I'm ordering the "shorty" conversion so it will handle the 1¾" shells reliably with more capacity & less recoil. (I no longer bird hunt.)

Went to Scheels gun dept yesterday. They had VV powders on sale so I got 2 N140 at a penny less than 30 bucks each...and they had Win 231 for 31bucks..got 2 of them and even though I didn't REALLY need it I got a lb of Reloader 7. Had a 100 dollar gift card so I bought another Dillon 750 as they had 2 in stock. Supposed to not come with a cal conversion but the one I got had a 44Sp/Mag conversion when I opened the box. Called Scheels today and they said good for you. And no sales tax in Montana. Today I put my name on a surprisingly short list at a local FFL for one of the new Springfield Hi Powers. Just what I need...another 9mm!. I went into the local farm store and boy they do have a fair supply of different ammos. While there I got a set of RCBS dies in 223...just to size my cases before I run 'em through the Giraud case trimmer. I have a set of Dillon carbides but don't want to take 'em off the press. it's all set up to load. I was surprised at the price of the dies. Only 32.50. Not having bought a set of new dies in a long time I expected them to be much higher. Heck I just sold a used set of RCBS 32-20 dies on ebay for a lot more than that

Just got a couple magazines, 2 Mini-14 20 rounders and 1 Mini-30 20 rounder. All from eBay and all for significantly less than retail.

While I don't have a rifle in 7.62 x 39... I do have a CZ in 204...and it is a shooter. I think you'll like that rifle.
