Thanks, it's original; often you can find some really nice wood on a No.1, particularly the older ones.
Best regards,

Bought me a Glock. I've had my eye out for a small, reliable, semi-auto and this came along, cheap, so I bought it. Also got a Desantis Slim tuk holster although I do not plan to carry it very often. It's only for certain situations.
I like it. I'm a reloader. So far I've discovered it doesn't like cast or powder-coated bullets. (I'm aware of the warnings about shooting lead bullets through Glocks.) It has been 100% reliable with factory jacketed ammo. It has not been as accurate for me as others say their 26's are. It is not as accurate as my friend's Shield. I have to work to keep it on a paper plate at 25 yards. I partially blame that on the combat sights and the stout trigger pull. My J Frames do better than that. But I like it for what it is.

bought some powder measures and odds and ends yesterday.. One measure I knew of but had never seen an example before. It is a Belding and Mull Black Powder Measure. It's complete with both powder measure tubes and the handle has never been attached. I couldn't not buy it for 40 bucks. Also got 2 Powder measure by Harrel. one a large one and the other a bit smaller. Haven't looked 'em up to see model numbers but they were priced at 75 each and got 'em both for 60 each. Got an old used Lyman 45 sizer/luber with a die and top punch for 32 cal SWC bullets. And the price was right at 15 bucks. Also got an 1100 stock for10 bucks. not perfect but good useable (I have a few 1100s) The fellow also gave me 26 rounds of- Hornady 45 Autorim ammo. He has a load of stuff to dispose of and I helped him with pricing on some higher end items such as a couple of Hawkeye borescopes and a Oehler 35P Chronograph with all kinds of extras. Wish I could afford that one

I cut my teeth reloading on a Belding & Mull powder measure 60 years ago when my dad taught me how to reload. I still use one for reloading when I can't use the progressive loader. You did real well.
The company is still in business and has a store outside of Philipsburg, PA.

I have used the B&M measures much in the past but they all seemed to get away from me. Didn't know they were still in business. I had heard of the B&M black powder measure but had never seen one. And being new and thinking they are out of business I just had to have it. Didn't they used to make bullet moulds too? The fellow even had a Lyman BP measure but not my cuppa joe. I had heard of the Harrel's but had never even looked at one. They looked very well made so I bought them. Looking them up on- line today it seems I actually stole them. I would really like to have the Oehler 35P but don't want to pay 500 bucks for it.

As I said in an earlier post I made an offer on a Dillon 650... They countered and after a little dickering I got it. I also bought a Harrel's 4 hole turret press with 3 turret heads. Never been used. Will post pics later...cooking ribs for din-din. Miz skeet made tater salad...with either asparagus or some of our home growed Broccoli. And for the late finisher...Chocolate puddin

Purchased a Wartime Walther PPK in .32 acp at a gun show for $ 750. Not a collectors gun but a shooter grade. Has a " been there done that" look. Serial number puts it as very late 1942 or very early 1943. My first shot at the range was a bullseye at 10 yards. Love the looks and feel of it in my hand.

Well I went back to the guy who was getting rid of an estate of reloading items. I did get the Montana Vintage Arms powder Measure and a bunch of littles. Pics below(I hope..new computer)include 2 mags for Remington Bolt 22s...one 10 and one 6 round. a box of 38 Sp blanks(?) a set of Dillon wrenches with the press mounted holder a long brass Powder drop tube with the Measure a new in the package Colt 1911 45 auto bbl and a bunch of wrenches choke tube wrenches and even a wrench that came with rifles that had a Boss attachment on the bbl. I also got a bunch of little stuff for case prep etc when reloading but not pictured. All the stuff shown and not shown cost me 75 bucks...so I did ok.

I had a cheapo Aimpoint knock off on my 15-22 that finally bit the dust after 10 years. Picked up a Romeo MSR to replace it.
It's quite a bit more compact than the clone... wasn't so bad on my 15-22 rifle, but on a 15-22 pistol, it will be nice to have a little less bulk.
It'll be nice to get this one back out to the range. It's a lot of fun to shoot, especially suppressed!

But that doesn't mean I'm not buying stuff in 2022. Got a pair of K logoed classic targets, put them on my pre-10 M&P 38, my (almost) birthday gun. eBay find. Pics later.
Correction. Tried the grips on both my K's. Left the Altamont replacement "Cokes" on my 1950 M&P 38, and put the new targets on my 1947 pre-K 22 Target. Original numbered grips for both are in storage.

My grail gun is coming a mint 27-2 with box, tools (unopened) documents and it's a 3 1/2 barrel. I figure a week for funds to arrive and another 5 days or so for shipping. It will be a long two weeks. My first gun of the new year.

Here, here. My resolution is to do the stuff I need to do with the guns I bought last year. Load development for two rifles, which means reloading stuff for two new calibers. Commissioning a custom leather rig for my N frames. A couple of trigger jobs... etcetera.

Bought 2 grip adapters from the fellow with the estate. Went over because he had found the case feed tube for the Dillon 650 I got. looking in a box of little crapo I found the 2 adapters. One is a Tyler T grip...Think it is for a J frame. The other is much larger and is made from plastic I believe and has a S&W logo on it. Did S&W sell grip adapters too? Looks like it would fit a N frame. Gonna check them both to see what they fit. Looked a little better on the Tyler and it has a number 1 with a T under it. Black anodized aluminum I think. Price was right I think. Got a holster that I think will fi my pre 18 22 revolver too

That was my "grail gun" for quite a while. I found mine about 6-7 years ago. Mine was nickel. You will love it! Be sure to wear a drool guard when handling it.😂 Here is a picture of mine with some unique aftermarket grips done by a forum member that I like. Of course, I still have the original numbered grips. Even though mine came in the original numbered box, I picked up a later mahogany presentation case too.

Got a nib RCBS Bench Mounted Priming tool and a RCBS Bench plate and 4 knives. A new Buck Folding Hunter(110)A slightly used Buck 443 Folding hunter type A new S&W folding HRT and a new spring loaded stiletto type. Out of the ordinary for me to buy knives. But I only paid 10 bucks apiece for the knives. Heck folding hunters sell for 60-80 bucks now. 50 bucks for the primer tool and bench mounting plate

Maglula Uplula universal 9mm-45acp loader. For years I've been buying ebay 3-D printed loaders, one for each semiauto I own, until I'd spent way more than one Maglula. Tried mine out today, and so much easier. Loaded 5 different 9mm's, and two different 45acp's. Only thing the directions don't show clearly is keep your off hand thumb on the cartridge as you let go of the "finger". Saw the "Aha!" moment watching Hickok45 load some mags. Wish I'd bought one years ago and ignored that it costs 5-6 times a 3-D printed single caliber. Way better than any single caliber loader I've ever used. And unlike the others, it unloads, too.

And a follow-up on an earlier post. New stocks on my two antiques. Old numbered originals are stored away. Lucky that I found two sets of the same stocks on line, from two different sources. Perfect k-frame grips.

I sold off a bunch of guns a few years back, and was able to replace one of the ones I regretted selling. This one is a ‘41, and nicer than the one I sold.

A M27-2 with a 3 1/2 inch barrel and two 6 inch M617's. I couldn't decide between them. I'll decide which one to keep when they arrive.

It's a new year and I came across this Yugo Mauser Sporter in .243.
Vintage scope going on now and a Diamond D sling on the way.

Picked up a new Colt King Cobra Target a couple weeks ago. This has been the year of the colt for me.

While waiting for Discount Tire to mount some tires, I went by the LGS to say hello since I hadn't been by in a few weeks.
Made a total impulse buy on a 43C they just took in on consignment.
Very rare to see these come through used around here, and they never last more than a day or two. Cool little guns. I knew it was meant to be, when I saw the original dealer's stock sticker on the box. The stock # was my badge number!

I promised myself that I would not buy any new guns in 2022. A good friend told me that doesn't mean I'm not looking for old guns.
