Now that I have shot several hundred of rounds through my new Sig P322, I have to say that I like it a lot. It really likes CCI Standard Velocity. It shoots it accurately and reliably. It isn't hard to keep most of my off-hand, standing shots within 2" at 25 yards. I'm sure that a better marksman or someone good at bench rest shooting could keep them all within that 2" circle. The only drawbacks to the gun are that it requires one to be careful to only pull down the button on the magazine enough to load one round at a time and the sights are not easy to adjust (I'm spoiled by click adjustable sights).

Picked up a new Walther PDP-F for the Wife as an early X-Mas gift.
We usually won't buy anything we haven't test-shot prior to buying, but since Walther has their money-back guarantee, we took a chance.
It shoots like a dream, with only slightly more muzzle flip than her G26.
The slightly narrower grip makes for an almost perfect fit, so she doesn't need to readjust her grip between shots.
Even better... It fits my hand nicely, too.
She's letting all her female shooting friends try it.

Just ordered a CZ 457 Varmint. Hope to have it this Monday. Very excited about this rifle. Although, I was a bit disappointed to learn that the barrel and action will have a Nitride finish instead of a polished blue finish. That's a shame considering the nice Turkish Walnut stock that they reside in.

A 1947 S&W 6" .38 Target Masterpiece from a fellow forum member. Great shape, very clean, all serials on the gun match (stocks are newer, but diamond magnas - a plus). Pictures later, when I get my now five older-than-me Smith 5-screws in one place to photograph the "family".

Pure impulse buys. I saw this Salsismaz 2000, 9mm in the case at the LGS and liked the way it felt, and the price so I picked it up.
While I was looking, my wife called me to the other end of the counter. "What's that?" she asked. "That" was a Heritage Rough Rider, 22, I think it's called the storekeeper or something like that. Short barrel, and fake pearl birdshead grips. "I like that." she told me. Yea...Yea...whatever.
I did the paperwork, told her we'd go to lunch while we waited for the BGC. She started for the car. I told the guy to pull one of those HRR's and add it to the list. I didn't tell her about it until later when after I picked them up. She was tickled.
She might never shoot it, but who cares? It didn't cost much, and doesn't eat anything.

Talked to a friend back east that I directed to an online estate sale. Told him to buy all the stuff. He bought it all and he sent me out some items he didn't need. In a few days barring UPS losing the package I'll be getting 3 complete caliber conversions for a Square Deal B..A 9mm a 44 and a 45 Colt...and at the local online auction in all the stuff I got was a new 2 cavity Lyman 32 caliber bullet mold. I'n down to 200 or so 32 cal SWC bullets for my 16-4. This stuff is NOT going in my garage though

I bought a 9mm 1911. It is Girsan cut down alloy 1911. 16 1/2 oz 3.5" barrel, extended beaver tail, skeletonized trigger and hammer, ambidextrous safety with adjustable rear sight.
I wanted a 9mm because normally ammo is common for them. I went with the 1911 type because I am familiar with them and their operation

Picked up an MKE AP5P yesterday. Always wanted an MP5 variant/clone. We used them at work years ago and they were always fun to shoot, but eventually they were all replaced by ARs.
Only fired ~100 rnds so far, but not a single hiccup, and impressively quiet through the can with 147s. Probably going to have to SBR this one.

Ruger SFAR .308 last night. This thing is amazingly lightweight. Was kicking around getting an AR-10 of some flavor for a while but always thought they were way to heavy. Ruger obligingly came out with the SFAR. Haven't set it up yet but I can see a lot of use forthcoming for pigs and deer.

Thinking seriously about grabbing one of these. I have a Sig 716i Tread in .308, and of course the SFAR came out about a month after I bought it. Between the size/weight and adjustable gas block, I think it will fit my use case a little better than the Sig.

Added a brace and Holosun AEMS red dot to the AP5P. This thing is lots of fun to shoot! And far less gassy with the suppressor than the straight blowback 9s I've tried.

Bought this one at a small GS this summer. Shows some honest wear but is solid as a rock. I've been looking for a model 94 Winchester in 25-35 to fill out my collection but keep finding other guns at prices too good to pass up.
This was one of two model 71s on the same table but with a price difference of $500. When I asked why the seller pointed out that it had been tapped for a side mounted scope. As we talked , he dropped his price $200. Then added a box of factory loads, box of bullets, and finally a set of RCBS dies. I just couldn't say no.

Picked a Colt MK V Lawman, 2" blue, a few months back on a trade deal. Any ideas on the value? I can't seem to find a lot of information or comparable sales to get an idea of the value. Wouldn't call it rare...maybe scarce?

Did an online gun auction last week. Clear back east. Didn't buy any guns...but a nice S&W 66-2 2 1/2 in went for 380 dollars. Nice condition too. But I did well with reloading stuff. 2 RCBS Cowboy die set 45 Colt and 45 Schofield and 200 new Schofield cases 15 new Lyman and RCBS cast bullet sizing dies and 2 sets of RCBS 38-357 carbide loading dies 1000 Hornady 125 gr JHPs and 1000 cast lead 158 gr SWC bullets and 6 NIBs Lyman 2 cavity bullet molds. Sold most of the bullets and the rest is on the way shipped here by my daughter. The reloading stuff went for real cheap.

I've posted these in another thread, but have to show off again. This Model 15 came to me from GB filthy and without grips but cleaned up nicely and my grip box yielded these magnas and the T-grip. I'll spend a little time with acetone and a bristle brush getting the remains of the gold paint out of the lettering but otherwise it needs nothing. Slick double action, single action just short of "hair". Found a pancake holster and some speed loaders in the shop. May be my new cold weather companion.

16-4 as new in box with the tools in the plastic. I'm stoked but no pictures yet and it's too cold & windy to shoot. Next week is supposed to creep above freezing.
