Glock Magazine Spring
I am planning to install a 2+2 magazine Floor Plate on my Glock 26.
Do I need to install a new magazine spring or will the original one be ok.

Your original one will work, if it does get weak your slide will not lock open on a empty mag. For what it's worth I have not had good results with the extensions on Glock mags, they seem to get knocked off easy, dumping the rounds.

IIRC, the Model 19 magazines use the same Glock part number magazine spring as the Model 26, so it's plenty long enough for a Model 26 magazine with a +2 extension on it.

I just put Scherer +2 extentions on my 26. You can also use G19 mags with A&G gizmos to make it pretty.

Back when it was legal here in CA I got a coupla +2 extensions for some 15rnd g20 mags. OEMs were too weak near the end and some Wolff +5%'ers solved the problem.
