Vintage CamCo Knife Find
I thought I'd share this cheepo CamCo knife I found for a buck at a garage sale two weeks ago.
I know it's not anything special but I like the handle and just the nostalgia of it.
Best regards,
Kobsw

Nice shrunken celluloid. Keep it away from any gunpowder
solvents. They will make it gass-off and crumble. Trust me on this! I've had more than a few disintegrate over the years.

I remember those. I used to have one that I bought at F.W. Woolworth. I think it cost about a buck back then. "Back then" was over fifty years ago.

I did a little research and found some information (looks just like your knife) on the Camillus® Cutlery Co. that made that knife. It appears to be a Camco. You might be able to find the actual knife by browsing through the Camillus WebSite.
