Call me crazy, but I really like the .32 auto cartridge. I am looking for another pistol that chambers this cartridge. I already have a Walther PP and a North American Arms Guardian. Does anyone know of another company that makes a good quality auto in .32 acp???

Ya want modern or classic?

I like them too. Just go with the king (IMO) of pocket autos....the 1903 Colt.
You can add the Sauer 38H and Remington 51 to Smith 357's list as well.

I have the Tomcat and it always works well for me and fits my rather large hands where the smaller 32s won't. I have a Guardian but it's in .380, are the 32s any smaller?

Classics are very hard to find around here. Looking more for current manufacture, preferably in stainless. Would love to find a Sig Sauer P230. That would be on the largest end of the scale I want.

32 ACP is a fun cartridge to shoot. If my Nazi-marked CZ 27 didn't have some collector's value I would shoot it more often.

IMHO the best bang for your buck is the CZ 83, Even buying a new one. They are tack drivers if you want a shooting gun and not a SD gun.

Picked up this European police surplus CZ83 not too long ago for $250. 15 rounds plus one in the pipe, and it fits the hand very well.

My wife is currently carrying a Walther PP. She's switching to a Bersa (so I can get my Walther back.)

I like the Colt 1903. Another great little pistol was the HK4-never should have sold mine.

S & W also made one and also the .35 (most would shoot 32 acp, as well)

Ditto a CZ83 in 32 if you're looking for something 'modern'. Most of the Milsurp importers had them a while back. In 9mmMak I think it's a CZ82 and Military issue instead of Police/Security.
Anyway the few I've seen were quite nice for the price. Should be able to find them for sale yet at shows, shops and net.

I don't know if Mauser made the post war HSc in 32auto or just 380. They're pretty nice pistols with a few refinements from the war-time issue.

Older stuff,,take your pick. There are lots of different 32's out there and most everyone that likes them has a favorite or two or three.
Your PP is a great choice IMHO.

There are many .32s to choose from.
It is a somewhat anemic round in comparison to .380s, 9s, and .38s, but I sure as hell would not want to take a hit from one anywhere. It is a lethal round, just not real powerful. That bein' said, I am also partial to the .32acp. I am especailly fond of theColt 1903 pocket hammerless. I like all the old Brownings as well. And the Savages. And the 1910 & 1914 Mausers. The .32 has been around a long time, and is a well proven round.
You should be able to find something you like if you go to a show or make a little road trip around your area.

If you're looking for everyday carry, in an environment
that requires total concealability, try a Kel-Tek P-32.
It is light, flat, and conceals just about anywhere. And,
with the available clip, it doesn't even need a holster.
Although a little larger than the steel-frame tiny
.32's, it fits better in you hand, Really flat! If you don't
end up liking the gun, you're not out that much.

If you aren't insisting on a new one, Colt, Remington, and Savage all make a pretty decent pistol in 32 ACP.

I have lots of .32 acp/7.65mm pistols from an ancient FN Browning 1900 to a new Beretta Tomcat I just bought Friday.

The caliber really gets poo-pooed in the US..however it has a good reputation in Europe..and has served as military and police issue for many countrys succesfuly.

I find it difficult to beat the Colt 1903.

What about Autauga?

No one mentioned the V-61 Skorpion, it was imported into the US as a pistol but should have the stock put on it which requires a Tax stamp due to NFA laws.

Hammerli makes a 32? I've been in a cave too long!

Cool gun, but kind of large for carrying.

I think the CZ83 is the nicest thing in production. It's not a small gun. But, it has a 15 round capacity, a single/double action trigger, and good sights.

The only drawback - it throws fired cases a long way, and 32 ACP cases are hard to find once they hit the ground.
